Ok, today I was bored at work (Snow day, no one was here!) - So I've created a High Resolution template for the Super Nintendo Covers for the Universal Game Cases.

Here's some Previews of the clarity over an actual 300dpi scan of a SNES case:  [Blurry part = Old case, Clean part = my template]

Preview of finished product

Here's the template, with a finished cover, a freebie if you will...
Comes packed with Super Mario All Stars - High Res Cover!

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DMIHKJVN

A Couple notes!
=============================================
1. Also, be sure to have "Guides" turned on in Photoshop, the guides will really help you line stuff up.
2. The label of the game that goes on the side is to be centered to the top horizontal line on the side.  Its the Quarter-mark to the bottom of the side of the case.  That way, all the sides are matching.
3. I'm made a few modifications, like putting "Super Nintendo" on the side.  You can remove it if you like, but its kinda nice.

Please, let me know what you think!

This was long overdue.

Oh, and I love that custom FFII cover you have there! Is that official artwork or fanart?

I can't get the file either.

If you could send it to me through email - 4tygames at gmail.com - I will host it through my googlepages account, or my university account.

Thanks! Looks great!

MegaUpload sucks really bad!!!!!! The slots are always used to my country!!!! Maybe there even aren't any slots!  ;D

Those templates look fabulous! I always was so annoyed by the fact that my SNES boxes scanned in looked so crappy and the refurbishing was killing me.... :) Those template would save quite some work.

I'd suggest using rapidshare instead of megaupload if possible....

Looks amazing Mooky!  Guess we'll have to fix all the posted SNES covers and I'll have to reprint all my SNES covers now.. :)

I used the template to remake the Starfox Cover without the lame claymation figures on it.

Here's a preview, I just uploaded it.  Enjoy.

I wanted everyone to see the uniform idea I've got going here.

I'm trying to match spacing and whatnot for all covers.  I'll be releasing a ver. 2 of the template, since I'm already out growing it.  I like things to be clean, and precise on every cover.. and I'm really trying to get the guides to do most of the work.

Here's the 4 I've finished.

Whats you should notice:

I've created the guides to help people with a few things.

1. Notice how each of the game titles are centered with each other?
2. Notice how the spacing between the bottom graphic (hard to see, I have bought Imandix yet) and the company logos are uniform?

With the way the quides are laid out, I want you to look at your shelves and see uniform design.

Words cannot express how impressed I am.

Are you planning on doing a cover for Final Fantasy III (VI)? The US cover was extremely bland and I'm sorry to say, but the Final Fantasy VI Advance cover isn't any better.

Just a suggestion, if you're not going to keep the original box, why not use the "real" Final Fantasy IV logo?

Also, if you would hook us up with a link to that piece of Rydia art. That's sweet on many levels.

I think this is a great idea. What will be different in your second template?
