A few months ago someone on here posted some character drawings from Brave Battle Saga Legend of the Magic Warrior.  For the life of me I can't find these pictures anywhere now, nor do I remember who posted them.  I'm trying to put together a custom cover for this game, so any help with finding the art would be greatly appreciated.  TIA

Thanks! Glad you dig it.  I think I'm going to pick this one up as well.  I've been playing it on emulator and it's a neat little shooter.  The difficulty is spot on, I find.  Sometimes games in this genre suffer from being annoyingly hard, but this one offers a fair challange without making you want to smash your controller to bits.

Your right on the difficulty. Im not a HUGE shmup fan but I do really enjoy them. Nothing is more frustrating than a good shmup thats just too hard. Gley Lancer has good difficulty settings so you can play a nice casual difficulty and still jack it up if your a veteran.

Any chance you could make a version of this cover with the original logo? :)

Is it really neccessary to get a hacked version of a game like Gleylancer? This has been released in Japan as a regular game so if you want to play it you could just get the JP version. I know that this game is pretty expensive though so maybe a repro is cheaper.

If I can find a scan of it sure.  That scan that I used was fairly damaged in the logo department.  I tried fixing it, but it was a little too far gone.  I'll keep an eye for it, and if I find one I'll update the cover and cart label.

This game is surprisingly text heavy for a shooter.  It has quite a bit of back story in the cut scenes at the beginning that explain some of the war and the events leading up the disappearance of the main character's father.  There are also other cut scenes in between the levels.  So it's nice if you can get all that in English.  Though you're right, the game itself would still be playable, but you'd miss the storyline.  Also, as you mentioned the repro is about $50 cheaper.

Even if its not the highest of quality, thats fine with me. To be honest the logo should be too hard to recreate since it doesnt really have any detail.

I whipped up a Gley Lancer logo. Should do the trick. Think you could throw it on your cover for me please? Thanks!
