Hey guys. I have downloaded a few GBA cases and wanted to add my support to the PC side. I have scanned and uploaded Tron 2.0 for windows. I have no photoshop skills so when i try to edit the raws it looks horrid.

Here are the links:

Back:

If someone can clean up the images that would be great. I also have other boxes that I can scan I just want to make sure that these are usable before I scan more.

wander2045 I think you might need to rescan that box.. It is almost unusable as a raw source (at least to me).
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

See if your scanning software has a deraster option or an option that lets you select the source material type (choose magazine if its offered).

Okay, I have rescanned and re-upped the files.

I hope these versions work. I couldn't find any type of deraster option in the HP software, but I think these versions are a lot better than before. I'm keeping my fingers.

Did you see something called descreen? Same thing IIRC. My scanner's got a few years on it and that's what it's called.

Okay here is another set of scans. I used the descreen option, but I wasn't able to scan it at 600dpi only 300dpi. The HP software said that i had insufficient memory size which I know cant be the case. If any one knows a work around let me know. I should also say that the front is shiny so that could be screwing up the front scans.

If anyone is able to make a cover from this latest set of scans or the previous ones let me know and I'll scan the rest of my covers that way.

I just made a Doom 2 Cover: http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/Harrison.custom.win_pc_doom2.jpg

The front I made by using a scan of my Doom 2 manual, and the back I had to completely remake from scratch by looking at a scan too small to use of the back of the box.

I think it turned out pretty good.

I just uploaded four more games. Also I decided to do two versions per game since some people want the original cover.

Hope you guys like them.

Adm I always liked that you had a little bit of love for the PC gamers BUT could you maybe redo your covers with a little more work on the spines.... I did look at them a little more and have to say that many of them look very squished on the spines.... Could you maybe try and redo the covers where the spine is squished? ;D I know a lot of work but with proper spines they would look soooooo nice!!!! :)

I'm not very good with spines (hence why I've started posting the original stackpak versions). A squished spine doesn't bug me that much because the company's that make the covers do it more than people realize. The only part that bugs me are the logos, which I'm honstly tring to fix. But if you want to redo the spines yourself go ahead I won't stop you. Hell I'll give you the raws if you want them, thou they're pretty much the same as the stackpak versions.

Would like to but haven't got the time unfortunately.... No problem if you think it's too much work... I'll post them anyway until we get something else....

It's not THAT bad after all..... What I hate much much more if low res stuff is used because then a cover looks truly horrible when printed out....

Yeah, I had to buy a brand new scanner when I realized how bad my first few covers looked.

Here's another one of my crapy covers.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/Adm_SkyWalker.custom.win_forgedalliance-standard.jpg

Also I uploaded a few about two months ago that I've yet to see put up on the site. Did I do something wrong on those covers snow? Or are just just backlogged like nothing else?
