PC game covers thread (was: Official PC game template)

Is there an easy way to check for artfifacts and inconsistent colors on a scan? When switching monitors, I noticed artifacts on some of my scans that I hadn't seen before. I will admit that I am now quite reluctant to upload covers, because I don't want to upload bad quality.

I have the same problem, I have a crappy laptop that catches them pretty good, but it runs Photoshop like crap.

I don't really think you can do anything about it per se. You may try but I recommend just letting it go as it is just someone else enjoying your covers... thats just my opinion though

Yeah I probably will, it just annoys me that someone would upload them without asking me first.

Trust me it does no good. About 95 % of ALL the covers on that site are stolen from other websites. I tried reporting some of them when i saw some of my covers there but they never did anything about it and if they did basically all the covers would be gone from that site. As is almost every other cover website on the net I've seen covers from this place on a bunch of other places but can't do anything about it.

What does this case tell us? That our covers are the best on the net and we are the only ones how don't need to steal others covers without asking!!!

By the way or site is free to download the covers from so if we don't want to share our covers we could just make the site private and only for special members to download.... Is that what we want? NO!

it's just nice to get credit for your work is all, but yeah you're right I do just want people to be able to enjoy the covers.

I made an Oddworld Abe's Exoddus cover and I need a little help.  I had the European cover and I want to replace the rating on it with the ESRB rating, I know it's rated Teen but I don't know what it's rated Teen for so yeah if anyone can help.  Right now it looks like this, i just need to know what goes into the box, like "violence" or "comic mischief" or "silly alien farts" I don't know, something...
