When switching monitors, I noticed artifacts on some of my scans that I hadn't seen before. I will admit that I am now quite reluctant to upload covers, because I don't want to upload bad quality. :( |

I have the same problem sometimes, I don't really think you should let that hamper you from uploading covers though. Try goofing around with you brightness and contrast if possible. You may also want to try adjusting the curves in photoshop to archive true blacks from your scans and then start editing them. |

The most often places artifacts happen is with text and other small stuff on the back IMO. |
