Ok folks I checked quite some PC covers yesterday regarding quality and resolution and the likes....

Hexxer: All of your covers are truly beautiful and in astonishing quality!!!!

sheep2001: Your covers are pretty good as well just the Tomb Raider cover is unfortunately not so good.... The front looks pretty greyish and unclean on this one.... Would be nice if you could give it some more love....

Mister Creazil: Your covers are pretty nice as well just some of them were a little bit unclean und could have used more polish... Some of them had a little moire effect on their fronts as well.... I wasn't as strict on this stuff as I'm on some consoles which are my favorites but two covers simply weren't a little bit too unfinished.... Creatures 2 and Final Fantasy 8 StackPack.... On Creatures two the front and back are extremly unclean and really should be polished more and on FF8 the changeover from the spine to the front is unfinished....

Thanks for all your work guys.... Keep it up....

FF8 the changeover from the spine to the front is unfinished....

I have no clue what that means.

FF8 the changeover from the spine to the front is unfinished....

I have no clue what that means.

It means that there is no fluent changeover from the spine to the front but a big and not so nice looking difference in the color gradient.... Hard to explain but if you just take one look at it you should see what I mean....

I have uploaded a few cover over the last few days.

This is a reload of a cover I did last year, there was a spelling mistake on the back so I did a few other touch ups

This is a custom front cover made to match more closely to the original Deus Ex, I hope people like it. It was heavily edited from it's base material.

Used antony30bc's Raws on this one

This cover is courtesy of Andy Roark's SierraVault website.

Also from the SierraVault

Just edited my own raw on this to get rid of the EA Logo at the bottom.

MisterCreazil supplied a great raw for this, took a little to get rid of that damned sticker residue but I am pretty happy with the result

I may work on a few more after I go get some more sun.  ;D

Is there an easy way to check for artfifacts and inconsistent colors on a scan? When switching monitors, I noticed artifacts on some of my scans that I hadn't seen before. I will admit that I am now quite reluctant to upload covers, because I don't want to upload bad quality. :(

I have the same problem sometimes, I don't really think you should let that hamper you from uploading covers though. Try goofing around with you brightness and contrast if possible. You may also want to try adjusting the curves in photoshop to archive true blacks from your scans and then start editing them.

The most often places artifacts happen is with text and other small stuff on the back IMO.
