Yeah, I was a tad let down by The World's End.  Probably had too high expectations, considering how great Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead are :(

Study.

Do dishes.

Do laundry.

Vacuum the house.

Study.

Only five more days until my military service wide exam. Hopefully the last six months of studying pays off so that I can finally relax and and do more of the stuff that I want to do. Stuff like play video games and do a couple of console mods.

Advancement or bust!

How far did you make it?  That game can be such a huge PITA :(

Well, seeing as my Friday nights usually consist of 'come home from work, cook dinner, do dishes, feed/change Oscar, then collapse on couch', Sunday will most often be my Friday when the wife takes Oscar to her Mother's to visit.  That said, here's my "Friday".

Got about 40 of these to do plus a bunch for my portables. I actually have cases on my shelves with nothing in them. Lots of them.  It's embarrassing :(

I kept dying on this guy in the first temple in the lowest level, so not very far. I only played for a hour or so late at night.

I then rage quit after a few times.
I'm going to play more today, and grind bit before I go in, so I can get the health upgrade right before him, on the guy who throws stuff, I can kill him with no health loss. And so I don't have to get in that loop of dying and loosing everything.

My week that week was very busy, with Friday being my only day off from work because we got a new employee, and school's first quarter ending, so I mostly wanted to relax that day.

Time to once again necro-bump this topic as it's time for:

Finnish national drinking day, Juhannus

Weather seems to be crap tomorrow so it's probably BBQing, drinking and playing at home.

Tomorrow's menu:
- Selfmade hamburgers with 4 types of cheese, bacon and red onions + Mustard and Ketchup..
- Grilled sausages.
- Grilled bacon.
- Steaks with American style Potato salad and triple flavored butter.

Drink list:
- Marianne drinks (Peppermint booze, whole milk and chocolade sauce).
- Orange killers (Peach liquore and Mango+Orange juice).

If weather betters even a bit, we'll probably go to neighboring village to watch the bonfire and drink at the beachfront rocks, even maybe swim (doubtful as the water is unseasonablöy cold).

And reminder for all us Finns reposting this.

(Read this news article carefully, and smirk if you understand it.

Translation for non-Finnish speakers:

Levels of Dihydrogen-monoxside still on rise in Saimaa.

Along with heavy metals and sulfides massive ammounts of Dihydrogen-monoxside is leaking to nature from the Talvivaara quarry. Internationally this compound is often shortened DHMO.

If inhaled this compound is extremely dangerous and kills many Finns per year.

Dihydrogen-monoxside has proven espesially dangerous if people are same time exposed to slightly polaric hydrocarbon based solvent (C2H5OH), which is plentyfully found from all Finnish lake areas especially during the warmer times of year.

This year levels of Dihydrogen-monoxside seem to exceed all previous levels in the waters of Vuoksi, especially around the Saimaa area. Finnish Newscenter (STT) reported on thursday that the levels are so high that it limits the usage of lakeside saunas and summer cottages in low laying areas.

Besides damaging human respiratory system Dihydrogen-monoxside also damages buildings.

The reporter considers the situation serious. It has long been known that Dihydrogen-monoxside is only good under the boats.

It's also a major component of acid rain.

100% of all cancer patients have ingested it at some time in their lives.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
