Thanks, it was really a blast. I'm getting ready to head out for the last day of PAX (need to hit one of the long lines before it gets too long). It was really fun last night. Doubt I saw you though :P I was mostly hanging out with my group of friends |

Doubt I saw you though :P I was mostly hanging out with my group of friends --- End quote --- ??? Don't know what the " :P " is all about but I'm glad you had fun with your friends, as I did with mine. I only asked because I played a ton of games, met a lot cool people in the process, and was only wondering if you might've been one of them. :) I'm looking to see if there's going to be one last party to go to tonight before it's all over. PS. I'm still editing videos but I've finished naming/tagging a bunch. I hope you guys enjoy 'em! |

It's a shame I don't have the time or money to go to PAx, but maybe next year I'll find a way, especially for PAX East. I don't actually care so much about the new game announcements as I do getting freebies and meeting the people who create the content I've been following for years. One day I'll hopefully be able to meet the guys behind rooster teeth, mega64, metroid metal, noobtoob and so on. Waiting on lines is probably the least interesting part of conventions to me. |

Yeah, waiting in lines sucks, but talking to your fellow gamers while doing so is a great way to pass the time and you get to meet new people. But, yeah I wholly agree that meeting the content creators is always a highlight of these things. Some can be real stuffed shirts mind you, but some can be really nice and down to earth people, too! :) |

Last day of PAX wasn't too interesting for me because I had mostly already seen everything I wanted to. But I did get there early and rush over to the Disney Drawing section of the Epic Mickey booth for the last long line of PAX I hadn't gone to yet. A couple friends and I also went to Portal 2 again (and one of my friends ended up playing it), we talked to a couple of the devs for a few minutes after they overheard us speculating about techniques they were using for the gel glob effects :D (most of the Portal/Portal 2 team is made up of graduates from my school, and they hire new graduates every year). |
