frankly $10 a year. Less than a buck a month.... I'll live.

I agree, it'll be fine. I'm just happy the increase wasn't more than $10. $60 makes sense to me, its the same as a new game. When Xbox Live debuted it was $50, the price of a new game at that time.  I'm just going to but another year the day before the price increase and i wont have to even worry about it for an additional year on top of my 5 months remaining.

im so glad i stocked up on live 12 month cards a few weeks ago.

35$$$ for a year on amazon, i bought a couple.
