I made some leftover turkey into a turkey sandwich for breakfast and now I'm experiencing some bad gas! My wife said: "Pee-yew! What a gassy kitty!" and left the room. Now I feel bad that I didn't admit it was mine own farts and not the cat's. Should I admit it or let the cat take the blame?!

I agree with tiktektak this was a pointless thread borne out of adolescent exuberance. Much ado about nothing. Well, you've received the attention you desired in making this thread. Is your ego sufficiently satisfied?

What did you say  ;D

Did you vote or not? I need to know if I should feel guilty for letting the cat take the blame for my gassy assy or if it's not a big deal because everyone does it afterall. Hurry up before the turkey sandwich works its way through my system!

Stop being an ass.

It's "general discussion", I don't care what gets posted here if it's legal.

So, are you gonna vote or not?

You know it's starting to really hurt my colon holding in this digested turkey sandwich. Since you guys aren't taking this seriously I think I'm just gonna go drop a deuce and confess to my wife since I haven't gone to a U2 concert lately. Sorry "Not if you've seen a U2 concert lately" voters the "yes" vote won out for me. If this scenario happens to you, and you don't wanna fess up, then go see a U2 concert ASAP!

Random topics in the general discussion part of our forum does not bother me. It DOES bother me when a topic is clearly directed to antagonize another member or their posts. It also bothers me when the basis of the new random topic is pointless smut

Smut is referred to as pornography as well as anything obscene or vulgar, obviously i was referring to the obscene/vulgar.  I understand it was a joke, i just don't find it very funny. I'm not upset or offended by the "joke" I just think its in bad taste. I don't feel like i need to "lighten up" because I'm not heated in the slightest about this.  People who know me well on the site know that i'm pretty old-fashioned on a lot of things, don't take it personal  :)

OK being serious for a minute, since shenske asked so nicely and I happen to like the guy  :-* , why does this thread bug you guys? It was done as a tongue in cheek joke. Why does this thread bother you guys but the good morning thread does not? Really, it brings the same pointlessness to the forum, and since approval was given for said type of threads, I figured I'd start my own. In fact this one's better because it's sarcastically silly!

Who said that doesn't bother anyone? I'm against all useless general discussion!

I can make an general off-topic discussion mega thread if you guys want

1. Considering the amount of information which I would need to pass on to so many different people whose covers get rejected then jup I'm all against telling every n00b what is wrong. It is a completely different thing considering seasoned members and people who at least try hard.

2. Nay! ;D Rather a sub-forum which we use for such shite and this should be "hideable".

#1 was kind of a joking nudge, honestly. I know it's not even easy to even contact the person who submitted a lot of times, and the ones that you can reject with a single glance aren't worth detailed critiquing considering they obviously didn't even look at the guidelines. (actually why isn't there a link to our cover guidelines on the submission page? Might cut down a bit on the fluff uploads)

#2 actually might be possible in SMF, but I don't have the technical knowledge (or the permissions) to do that. At the very least, if there's a thread that just says "Off Topic Crap" you'd at least know that you won't be interested in anything in the thread and can avoid clicking on it.
