The past month or two, Irvgotti452 and I have been working on a Japanese Sega Saturn template. We've finished the template and put a few covers together to showcase it. Here is a link to the template! http://www.box.net/shared/fun58s5rt7 It's a fairly comprehensive template - all logos, company info, and Japanese text has been retyped and has a translated title (in the layers list) for those of you who aren't familiar with the language. The yellow info box on the back includes layers for every genre, accessory, etc all clearly labeled and ready to go. It even includes the サタコレ (Satakore - basically Greatest Hits) branding and all of the SEGA ratings. I'm big on retail, I understand that sometimes (especially CD -> DVD case conversion) you have to just make it work. I love the style of all of my Japanese cases, so I wanted to keep that as close to a retail feeling as possible. The spines are up to you, I love that the spines are different on Japanese Saturn releases... some are just white with black text (Vertical or Horizontal), while some (Grandia and Christmas Nights) below have their own styles. I love this, I feel like it gives each game it's own character - but I understand some people like the consistency of making the spines white with black text - it's in the template regardless of which you choose! I'm fairly sure uploads are still down, so these are only IMANDIX previews - but here's 5 I put together over the past week. The only Satakore branded game I could find in the raws was Saturn Bomberman (I don't own any Satakore games myself) it's not finished but I uploaded a preview anyway to show everybody what the Satakore branding looks like! Phew! Thoughts? Comments? Criticism? Baku Baku Animal Christmas NiGHTS Grandia Radiant Silvergun Snatcher Saturn Bomberman (サタコレ) INCOMPLETE! |

Hello Argobeat, I just saw your Saturn JP DVD case conversions. I think they look awsome. I was reading that you like the original factory package. So do I, which brings me to my next question. Do you have a coppy of JP Bug Too? That is the only game that I am missing a back for. I have the manual, but need the back case and spines. If you did have a copy and could throw up a rear scan it would help me a lot. |
