What's So Great About the Dreamcast?
Doom:
It did deserve (or at least was destined) to fail - being CD(ish) based like SEGA's last 1.5 consoles when DVDs were a HUGE selling point for the PS2. (DVD drives probably would be VERY expensive if they were put into the DC from the start, but it still caused it to fail)
My criteria for buying it is very strict because I don't think I need it alongside a PC and the other consoles I already have. Sorry SEGA fans! I can't find very many games on the PS2 that I should get because most of the "best" PS2 games are also on Xbox or GC.
AppleQueso:
Has anybody pointed out yet that a huge chunk of the better dreamcast games (and saturn games for that matter) are really expensive nowadays?
Psychlonic:
You're right, there really aren't any good games for it. Don't waste your time stooping to other folks' level, let them enjoy their inferior system for some inexplicable reason. After all, gaming is about good taste, not personal enjoyment. God forbid anyone enjoy that failure of a system with no good games on it. I'm right and you know it! Argue and I'll ignore you and post a witty picture.
Doom:
WTF? I hereby grant all DC owners a one-time non transferable license to enjoy Dreamcast games. I asked, you answered. I'm sorry that there aren't enough games that interest me on it.
Psychlonic:
That would rock if I were still a Dreamcast owner. As it were, I sold mine back in 2008. I also owned a PS2 right alongside my DC and probably contributed to it's demise. I never said anything about being a Dreamcast/Sega fan. Love the picture about jumping to conclusions, by the way. ;)
