| Making covers fit half sized DVD cases |

I found some scans of the fronts and backs to the games I need on GameFAQs, but they're pretty poor quality. Would anyone be willing to spruce up those images if I listed the games I needed? Or is there some site I could do myself on? I don't have Photoshop or anything like that. |

Well instead of dealing with sub par covrs around the internet, you can ask us if we can scan specific covers for you. That is what we're here for ;) |

*Thread resurrection* After looking around on Google and not finding any sites selling 3-4 disc half height cases that would ship to the States, I was going to give up and just use regular DVD cases, but I found this today. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140438337407&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1352wt_893 I needed these for games like Lunar: SSSC and FF7-9. I figured people here would be interested in these, too. I'd like to help in creating a bunch of half height covers, but I only have nine games that I could scan both front and back and I'd have to borrow my mom's old all-in-one (which used to be mine :P) so I'm not sure how good its scanning quality would be. |

I would love if we could get more jewel case and half height DVD case projects going |

It seems to me that they'd be easier to make than the DVD covers, since it's basically just cleaning up raws and maybe altering the spine a little. I think they're the better option, since it retains the original look but aren't as fragile as jewel cases. And with games like Lunar: SSSC, I can just swap the cases and still keep the game in its neat little cardboard box with its hardcover manual. The only reason I could think of for people not choosing half height cases would be they are a little harder to find, so hopefully linking to that eBay seller will get some more people interested in such a project. The seller also has single and double cases for sale. I'd really like to help, but I have no Photoshop skills whatsoever. |
