Hello all.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for the efforts of this community.  Though a new member, I have been a long time fan and have been thoroughly impressed by your offerings and commitment to both the classics and current gen titles alike.

In all honesty, I am not a huge software/game collector - hardware has always been my passion as is reflected in my collection.  I do admit to being somewhat of a CIB purist in both areas though - hence I do not have a great need for the service that you are providing to general public.  That being said, I think your overall work is outstanding and is a definite boon to the gaming community.  I applaud your efforts and am a huge supporter.  I wrote an article that was based on what The Cover Project website that I hope compliments the work as a whole that you are doing.  The link:

http://videogameconsolelibrary.com/blogs/mg/

(scroll down a little on that page - the article is entitled Loose Games: The Salvation of Lost Souls)

Keep up the good work all!

Best regards,

Terry  |  Marriott_Guy

(no - I am not trying to pimp my article at all - I wrote it over one month ago.  Just want to let the CP community know about it and personally extend my thanks/appreciation)

Nice article, glad you like the site enough to recommend it to others.  Since you are a "somewhat of a CIB purist" i hope you scan some of your games in to help the site out too  :)

Thanks shenske - glad you liked the article.  Your team/community does an excellent job.  Providing your extensive content complimentary to all gamers is exactly the same goal of my humble website (though hardware based as opposed to software).

Being primarily a hardware collector, I am not sure I can add allot in terms of scans.  Most of my software collection efforts have been devoted to obscure gaming systems not listed in your main menu.   Drop me a PM if you are looking for something rare.

Thanks shenske.

Id say were looking for scans for anything thats not up on the site. If you could possibly browse through the database for the consoles you have and let us know what games you have that we dont would be helpful.

But for starters, you wouldnt happen to have boxes for say Little Samson, Power Blade 1 or 2 or Bubble Bobble 2? Just a few rare NES titles Im thinking of off the top of my head.

couldnt use better scans

Yeah I know that since I already printed it out for myself but that doesnt mean we couldnt use some scans to make a better cover since the one we have isnt the greatest of quality.
