Hello everyone at The Cover Project site. I'm new here and...

As for my first time being here, I bring you all a Megaman X6 DVD case cover.

I hope to keep contributing to this wonderful cover archive as much as I have free time.  :)

Very nice but it could probably use a little more work on the front. I have a Mega Man X6 cover in the works thats almost finished right now but Im using the retail cover art.

The logo seems to be in a somewhat awkward place in my opinion. I'd try putting it towards the top instead.

Not a bad cover for a first-timer. :)

Actually it looks pretty nice.

You could just sharpen the front artwork a bit more and clean the odd dustspot here and there.

A yes and welcome to the project!

The thing is, I tried placing the logo on the top, but to me it didn't look that great. So it was placed on the bottom for that reason.

Finding that clean X6 logo has taken me 3 days to find. Found it on some Capcom Wiki fan site.

The screenshots used in the back of the cover are my very own, I have a capture device with Component cables used.
It's an old IEEE 1394 (aka Firewire) Pyro A/V Link made by ADS Tech.

The artwork was an easy find, The Megaman Network had an archive of official Megaman artworks to choose from.

Oh and I was thinking of using the retail art originally, but then I figured to just use the Promo art Capcom made, it looks a-lot nicer.

And here's another thing, the bar code on the back does read it as a Megaman X6 title. I used a freeware bar code program that exports to a clean .eps format. Used a barcode scanner to test it just to be sure it worked right. (Using my webcam as a bar code scanner is awesome btw.)

Sharping up the promo art more? Ok. I'll try that.
Edit: I sharpened up the promo art a-bit (easy on the eyes I noticed). As for the dust, I'm not sure how to clean it up.
I'll have to look at another scanned X6 promo image to be able to figure it out so I don't mess anything up.

Whats the name of the font you used for the "Mission Critical.....ect." header? Im going to need that one when I finish up the back on my MMX6 cover.

The font I used is called Digital ICG.

You can download it here - http://www.fontyukle.com/en/DigitalICG.ttf

Out of all the digital fonts, in my opinion, I think this one looks better.
