So for those of you who use these covers for your TG16 games, how do you store your games in DVD cases?

Yeah, how indeed ??? I've heard about the Xbox Live game card cases in Europe (DVD Case sized in which you can perfectly fit your HuCard instead of the XBL card).

Problem with this is that the Cases are pretty scarce (as people trash them) and I'm in North America (which doesn't waste as much plastic for this matter: paper packaging)

I have actually strayed away from putting my HuCards in any DVD cases. As the amazing supericeboy and Ektophase have made covers for Dragon Spirit (which I do not have MIB), it's time to start.  I'll likely use DVD cases and put the game in the Instruction Book clip. Unless someone has a better idea?

I use the same method for securing my cards.  It won't stand up to real jostling, but for storage on the shelf it works just fine.

Id imagine you could probably buy some kind of plastic clips that you could stick on the inside to hold the card in place and just remove the center peice that hold the disk in place. I myself would not be down with sticking in the manual holders if I had a Turbo Grafx (someday Ill buy one).

The covers look great! Now that I have a new scanner as soon as I get new games I scan them right away. So the scans were good?
sry late response- yes good scans

For fitting in the dvd case just put hucard behind lower left insert clip I have also been putting a thick paper insert in the case as well for better protection.
It can vary for each brand of dvd case but just measure the left side and cut a piece of thick paper/cardstock to fit. (need a ruler, scissors, pencil, and thick paper)

I uploaded blazing lazers and sidearms with original cover so those should be on the site sometime soon.

cool, new raws. do you have the manuals for those box scans as well - like airzonk ?
(for manual scans it helps put black paper(or something black) behind the front page so that words don't scan through I had that problem on a few of mine
and i think that was a problem with one of the old airzonk scans from the ftp. also make sure to have descreen checked on the scan, check the scan guide if you haven't yet)

I'll check. I didn't know it was wanted when the box is available.

I will do that from now on. Can you check the ones already uploaded and let me know if any need to be rescanned?

All my scans on the site are 600dpi with descreen.

You also want any games in which I can only get the manual scan, right? Do you need/want the spine?

yes I mainly use the manual for these covers they usually have a better layout with the tg16 logos and are usually in better condition than the box, the box is also good to have in case it has a good or better layout and good condition its also useful to have the back for the storyline and to see the pictures that were used (some of this can be found online for popular games as long as the text is legible). I don't think I really need the spine although maybe it would be good to see how the text is written but probably not necessary.

The scans look pretty good Ill see what i can do some may be too beat up to use.

Ektophase, I talked to my friend with the TG16 games today. He said he does have the manuals to the games I uploaded so far. I'm going over his house one day this coming week, I'll get some more scans for the site.

Here's the only other game I have so far that I didn't upload because I forgot to scan the spine. Since I don't need to now, here it is.

Gate of Thunder

Bonk's Adventure

Bonk's Revenge

Surprise note inside game

You Turbografx guys probably already know this, but for the rest of us, here is some info on the game. Gate of Thunder is a 3 in 1 game that came with Bonk's Adventure and Bonk's Revenge on the same disc. I included a scan of the "Surprise Note" from inside because some people over the years have probably bought a used copy which didn't include it. It has a code that when entered gives access to a fourth unlisted game on the disc. I think it would be kind of cool if whomever makes the cover includes the note info somewhere on the back (although the ultimate choice is yours).

Another cool thing is the two Bonk's manuals are the same ones used for their respective stand alone versions, so three separate game covers can be made from this game.

Normally I wouldn't post links in this section reserved for the artists on the site, but due to the extra info I figured it would be ok. I'll post further uploads in the Raw Scans area and then link here.

P.S.  One last bit of good news is Andrew (my friend) said next time I come over he'll break out Magical Chase which is the "Holy Grail" of Turbografx games. He said only 3000 were made and hardly anybody has one. My first thought was, if no one has one then who would need a cover for it (lol). Either way, it's always nice to have covers for rare games here at TCP.
