I luv TG16/PC Engine to pieces. Of the top of my head, Detana Twinbee (dunno the U.S name), Galaga 88 (90?) Tiger Heli, Legendary Axe, Pac-Land, Ninja Spirit, Super Star Soldier, Saint Dragon and the Space invaders update where all played to death on mine. I only have JP versions so some of them would have different names or maybe were never released stateside. If you do decide to splash for a CD drive, you will be in shooting heaven BUT the drives are a little unreliable, especially by this stage of their lives.

BTW, im a bit of a 2D shooting nut and i have really been enjoying Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype for PS3. Well worth the money i thought.

The main reason I got the system is Saint Dragon :) I loved that game on the Amiga but could never beat it. It has haunted me since then and I just want to beat it already :D Splatterhouse is also on my list to finish my collection. I almost bought a FM Towns Marty since that console/computer hybrid also had a port of Splatterhouse but luckily I could resist :D

On a side note, kind of thread-jacking I suppose, is anyone working on a decent Atari Jaguar template? I just got that console too and the games come in cardboard boxes.

You did an amazing work on these.
At first I was more into the Orange template for fidelity but I like the multi colored spines more and more.
"Could this be... an omen?!"

Awesome they're up  :)

yes dungeon explorer 2 should be its own game and also there should be 3 variations for that game, I think you guys missed the purple one. Also did i forget to upload Devils Crush or did you guys skip over it on accident?
Edit: cool all fixed 8)

Well if anyone wants to upload some manual cover scans Id love to make some more, Ill have to recheck the raw section, there may be a couple of decent scans in there yet. hmm I still have to do Sidearms with the original cover.

Jup all has been added to our database. Very good work!

Still it would be nice if you'd always just do two color variations of each games cover. Otherwise the database-adding work amount gets huge. ;D

Just finished the BL covers, -the orange shooting game genre is pretty close looking to the orange style.

Man this game is hard I was playing it in slow motion with save states to get screen shots and I had a really hard time beating it.
then I get to the last stage and im like oh crap a boss parade at least they give you the choice of power ups.
then when i was trying to get info for the back I found there was an invincibility cheat..doh, oh well I had a fun time being super stressed playing it.

Also I added a list to page 1 of thread

The covers look great! Now that I have a new scanner as soon as I get new games I scan them right away. So the scans were good?

The first time ever that I played Blazing Lazers I made it to the stage before the last with just 2 lifes and thought "why do people say this game is hard? I've played much harder (Viewpoint stage 3 boss anyone?). But from there it went downhill and everytime after that I really struggled to get to the last stage. Must have been a fluke :)

I've recently become infatuated with the TurboGrafx again and have been buying up games when ever possible. I've decided to start making a website and possibly a book on the history of the TurboGrafx. I've got a few questions for all of you TG16 fans. Anyone know of a good look-a-like font for the TG16 and I also am trying to get scans of all the HuCards as with the boxes. If any of you are interested please let me know. If not... well... thanks anyway.

whatthefont can usually get you an exact match, but usually the match is a font that costs >$80.
