Re-Scan of N64 Covers

I showed respect in my first post. Asking for new scans for-

1) To continue Shenske's Minicases
2) Improve Quality on the site
3) To Provide -better- images for future references (Minicases, vertical covers, Virtual console cases, etc)

How about showing me a little goddamn respect when I say that I appreciate everything you guys do here. I respect that you have a website that has far more better quality boxes than ANYWHERE else on the web. If you can't APPRECIATE that one of your own contributors/uploaders has an interest in updating what once was old can now be new, then bye. Im gone. Get your own damn raws, ill keep my 94 more I was planning on uploading.

ShoothimNow. Nothing I said was intended to stop people contributing new covers. I am all for getting the best available and if that means dumping existing covers etc then I am/always have been totally cool with it.

wshbrngr is right .... we worked with what we had/were able to obtain at the time. I think I alluded to that as well somewhere in my comments.

Again ... this site has been based around individuals contributing ... and truthfully there's been bugger all of us re N64 boxes over the years. It's not like anyone has contributed new stuff over the years. Some have, but it hasn't been that much in quantity to be honest. Some of this stuff is incredibly difficult to acquire. Take Battlezone for instance. I purchased two boxes ... the only two to come up on EBAY over a 2 year period. And neither were the best. It's the nature of dealing with Nintendo's whack-a-doodle decision to use cardboard boxes. We simply don't have these problems with PSX or Dreamcast cases etc.

I personally would never say that stuff here is utter crap even if that was the case as it is only as good/bad as the contributors to the site and the availablilty of the items. I guess my coutesy stance differs somewhat from other people. I will take that onboard in future. Everyone needs to stand back and take deep breaths .... this is meant to be a fun place to contribute okay?

We are not being disrespectful stating that there is a problem with the N64 covers, because, for a majority of them, there is no problem. However I would like to point out that THERE ARE SOME MINOR FLAWS in the cases. If you can't again APPRECIATE that the covers you have up (for the few 15/300 that they are, then you are a great admin telling me that I should keep my mouth shut. I'll suppress any 'rage' from now on and NEVER point out any flaws that are created because we are all so perfect.

If you can't see that all I asked was for a simple Re-Call in N64 scans for other purposes than MOCKING the uploaded covers already, you are blind. I can easily fix the cases that are already posted. However it would take time. Any uploader knows that and that is why nothing has been fixed yet.

What is needed with a new scan? Pretty much... Paste the cover over the old (Many thanks to the covers provided by The Valeman, SMMM, and wishbrngr for the many covers they have uploaded) and crop out the .05% of the new raw to fix the .05% of the old cover. What is so goddamn hard to grasp about that? Congradulations on the scans. I appreciate them. But I guess I am the only person who see's there are small imperfections that a couple admins could care less about. Thank you for the covers, they are 95% perfect, but not complete. I would like to complete them. Asking for other members to scan some scans. If you don't want to scan the scans, as I stated earlier, stop flaming my fucking thread

Or that EVERYONE agreed with you that posting new covers was appreciated?

I know perfectly well what is required for cleaning up scans etc so I know the effort involved in doing so. At this point I guess it boils down to whether you are contributing or not? If you are I applaud your efforts ... I honestly do.

If not .... well .... again .... it's your call. No-ne can make anyone do anything they don't want to at the end of the day.
