Ok so I got my buddy to stop by and get me set up with PhotoShop (dont know why I waited so long) I had him run me through the basics and its not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Anyway Ive decided to try and convert my Bloody Roar 2 for my first cover. I think Im on the right track so far but Id like some of the admins to take a look at it to let me know how Im doing so far. Not quite finished yet. Still need to add a background image on the back, change the legal text among other little things.

Now that Im going to start using PS on a regular basis, I hope to be a regular contributer of good quality covers and eventually earn myself the title of Cover Guru or even a Cover Admin. Im gonna be around here for a loooooong time so I might aswell make some effort to become part of the team and contribute to the site.

You know that we have a ps1 cover thread do you?

The cover looks nice for a w.i.p. except for the front which looks a bit moired.

I'm by no means a custom ps cover expert though as my metier is the retro section. ;)

nice start dude!!!!

suggestion i gots are:

check back to where shen was giving me tips, and toss a couple despeckle's on the cover pic and the other pics to fix the grains

also on the back on your txt you should zoom in, cause on the stuff like your letter o's and a's and such, their is the old shade of grey/black crap stuff, so i'd say zoom in on that stuff, magic wand select it, then paint it to match the rest kinda thing
