Have,

Many Original  boxes for the following systems:

Atari 2600
Odyssey2
Intellivision
Colecovision

I will ship them to whomever needs them for this project. All I am looking for in return is eventually seeing these boxes as Universal game case covers for the games I have of these.

I have many Atari 2600 and Colecovision games that still need to be boxed, though I would hate to be a pain and have you send them =\

Yeah, you really should scan them and keep the original boxes for yourself. Those are valuable enough that you shouldnt just give them away. Not to mention theres no garuntee that whoever you'd send them to would make covers for all of them.

If I was in his position and didn't own a scanner I'd be willing to send them to one of the more reputable cover gurus.

I suppose for this old game systems "grumbleduke" is the man. He keeps our retro retro game cover site part alive. :)

I'm not a guru, but I've got a scanner and lots of free time ;) I have no editing skills, but I can scan them and provide raws for anyone that wants to work on them. If no one else wants to do it, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I trust PR Mega X, I've used a lot of his scans in the past and he has been a member for a VERY long time. :)

I have a few of my boxes I want to scan, but for the life of me I can't find the setting to scan in 300dpi, I've looked everywhere!

So I could do rawscans of them and upload? A friend of mine offered for me to use a scanner. I read the scanning how to. The only question I have is you need just the front back and spine?

As the front, back, and spines, are usually the only sections on the created labels, you might as well scan the whole thing (if you would like).  That way, if the front has a hairline tear in a logo, and the top flap does not, then the user creating the new cover can easily swap out logos =D

Gents:

Id like to upload over a doz of magnavox/philips odyssey 2 raw scans, there is no category for it. I uploaded them to philips cdi. If the scans are ok can a category for the o2 be made?

Thanks
