Hey guys, I don't know if we've ever done anything like this on here, so I was thinking.

If anyone wants or cares there is the Portland Retro Gaming Expo going on in September (http://www.nwcge.org/blog/)

I thought it would be pretty cool if anyone wants to meet up and hang out, have a beer or whatever.  I thought it might be interesting to meet up with some of the other members from here.

Anyway just a thought, what do you guys think?

WAY back in the day, Austin had the Austin Gaming Expo and I actually had a booth there for my other site, Snackbar Games. We raffled off an original Xbox. Those were the days.

I would totally do that if it was closer. I think the furthest i would travel for a gaming expo is Denver.  Good idea though  :)

I'm in Arizona and have family in Washington so it's kind of a perfect little stop for me

The problem I have with the Retro Gaming Expo in Portland is that it's just too damn close, time-wise, to PAX and I'm usually exhausted after 3 days of PAX and need time to recover/recharge. Having another gaming expo a week or 2 afterward really is overkill. If they could only space it out a bit more I'd make the drive down from Seattle. I might do it this year, but I've said that the last 2 years and each time I was just too burnt out to make the drive down...
