Free portal for mac and pc

Been primarily a console gamer anyway, but it'll be nice to be able to play Torchlight finally. Portal for free is pretty awesome, but Steam has been telling me that the servers have been too busy for me to download it :P

Yeah the only mac I have is a hackintosh dell 10v, so not really a gaming platform. It should be able to run the old half life games once those are ported though.
