so how do you use these universal game cases?

BadChad:
SNES and N64 manuals fit just fine. Try tucking them in between the sleeve and your cover. They fit just fine. Thats how I do it,  cause yeah they dont fit that great inside the actaual UGC.
Mick Dundee:
A cd will fit under the tab near the clamps that keep the case closed. (unless they changed the way its made)there should be a small tab that you put one side of the disc under and once closed it holds securely.

It also holds a full size single disc jewel case sideways. there are 2 rounded bumps near the top.  Put the disc just under those 2 bumps. and it fits snugly.

all case covers on the site for CD/DVD/Blu-Ray format material are made for dvd style cases unless otherwise noted or PS3.  if needed i could take a pic of how everything fits... but i think there are some on here somewhere in the forums.

A SNES dust sleeve will fit, but make a bulge if the manual is with it or if its a thick manual.

I do not have a manual for my Super Mario All-Stars but have a dust cover and it closes just fine
BadChad:
Most of my SNES games have dust cover. Putting your manual behind the back side of your cover helps and your case will close just fine.

well i fond the lttle tab you can slide a naked cd into, thats kinda neat it actually holds it pretty good.

I have no idea what your talkinga bout the Jewel case though.. i dont see any rounded bumps that your refering to for the jewel case.. can anyone explain that better?

I noticed what you said about the dust sleeve. Games without it i can squeeze the manual in oddly and it fits so so. If theres a dust cover though the manual has to be super thin or it bulges a LOT or doesn't close well at all. I see bad chads sugestion but that doesn't work at all for me. That makes the back bulge out a LOT when i do it, it looks really ugly

i guess theres no good solution for manuals? thats really too bad. They should have made them a tiny bit wider to accommodate the manuals. Right now the best i can do is put them in face down on the game itself then slowly close the left side down around it. Some big rpg snes manuals though seem to get pinched up and im worried about them wrinkling or getting damaged =(

is there no good solution to manual placement? Id think there ws a good way

oh ya, and is there a proper way to put the SNES carts in? i actually had mine reversed from bad chad (label facing eright). It seems some fit beter one way, others another depending on manual thickness

The best solution is to store them somewhrerf else. You should always take into account that those cases weren't desigend for us to show of our retro cart games but for videostores to have cases to put carts in. I don't think manual placement was that important for them.
