Microsoft's patience doesn't really seem to be a problem. In another article on Kotaku it says that Microsoft wouldn't shut them down. The remaining few could play until the last one of them disconnects for one reason or another. source: http://kotaku.com/5529484/microsoft-will-never-kill-halo-2-itll-just-watch-it-die What's more concerning and a bit sad is that at the time the article was published on kotaku (today at 1:30am) there were still 12 people playing. I went to check the bungie forums and as it stands right now there are only 5 remaining. So either there was a delay between writing the article and putting it online or 7 players disconnected over the last couple of hours. |
