  • ...and that's the bottom line
From an aesthetic point of view I like the "before picture", the wide boxes, a lot better. But it if you're running out of space it really shows how much of it you can save.

Thanks for posting the pirctures robbie for others to see.

I'm with KaiserWave on this. I prefer the original look but it can't be denied that it'd be a great space saver.....if you tossed the original boxes ;)

I plan on keeping the original cases in a box until I have the room for them and can afford to get replacement cases that are not cracked or broken.

For the time being though it saves A LOT of room, and looks very nice. Some of the games I didn't have originals for, they were residing in a CD notebook, so this is the first time I can display some of them.  :)

I do prefer all the different logs/artwork on the spine of the originals, but for the time being, this is an effective and great looking solution.

I remember the biggest reason I started converting all my Saturn games to DVD cases wasn't because I disliked the Saturn cases (quite the contrary), but because they were so fragile. I wanted to keep them somewhere safe.

Of course, saving space in my actual living environment was a plus.

Exactly, the tabs on the large cases break so easily... Also, I can find games so much cheaper without the case on eBay and just print off a custom...

Before I found this site I passed so many times on good games that didn't  have the case... :'(
