Not everyone here reads every thread, so here is my official request that I posted in the "Covers for peripheral equipment"-thread before. Maybe that'll draw more attention ;)

So here's what I would like to see:

Covers for UGCs:

- Mad Catz Street Fighter IV Fight Pad Ken Design (Xbox360)
- Mad Catz Street Fighter IV Fight Pad Blanka Design (PS3)
- Wii Classic Controller thanks to Shenske
- Wii Remote & Nunchuck (white) (both in one case not seperately)
- Gamecube Hori Digital Controller (black)

Covers for DVD cases:

- Gamecube Memory Card 251 Blocks (simple mem card without any game artwork and in the European Gamecube template with the Gamecube logo on the upper spine)
- PS2 memory Card (black) (again European style with white spine and black text)

Covers for DS cases:

- Dreamcast VMU (European DS case, the one with the bigger spine, see guides section, case dimensions for proper dimensions), blue PAL style

sheep2001 did a Fight Pad cover on page 3 of this thread for reference. That's basically what I'm looking for.
UncleBob provided RAW scans for the Hori Digital controller (black and indigo). They are in the raw covers, in the gamecube section.

I don't have any scans to work with for the other covers.
I don't care about legal stuff, barcodes etc. I even prefer custom covers so If anyone wants to tackle any of these you can go wild and do whatever you want, any effort is appreciated.

You know guys, when you make a request and you come to check on your request later and there's new posts in it, you kinda hope that someone made one of your requested covers or at least has something to say regarding your post. When you check for new posts in your threads and you read some lame jokes instead it's a little bit of a downer.  If you can't resist the urge you could have said at least something like "...but unfortunately I can't help you with your request. Good luck though" Oh well, keep up the good work guys but please don't bother posting in someone's request thread if you have nothing to contribute.

I will have a look at at least some of them K, if no one else jumps in. Gotta finish one im working on for me first. :) Trying to make a MD case insert from scratch that is totally indistinguishable from the original, kind of like a top quality forgery. On an unrelated note, how is the fight pad for 360? I usually get fighters for PS3 as i have a Hori stick for that but i wanted Samsho Sen and that's 360 only so i had no choice and the 360 pad is reducing me almost to tears with its lack of responsiveness.

Take your time. No hurry. I know requests can take a long time and I really appreciate it that you might be doing one or so from my list when you find the time. I was just a bit let down that someone would post nonsense in a request thread. That bit got me a tad upset:)

I never got used to Arcade sticks for some reason. I had a SNES Advantage board but I always preferred a pad when playing games like Street Fighter II.
The Fight Pads both for Xbox360 and PS3 are great in my oppinion. They resemble the Sega Saturn pad in terms of shape and design. They have a good button layout and a great and big d-pad that handles diagonal directions pretty well.
I would also strongly recommend the Fight Pad if you're playing a lot of classic/retro arcade games from XBL. Not only do the classic fighting games play a lot better but also games like Bomberman Live and Mega Man 9/10 and really anything that uses the d-pad in general. It's a quantum leap. You should give it a try.

But I wouldn't consider getting a Fight Pad for Samurai Shodown Sen. My heart bleeds when I'm saying this but that game is really bad. Even if you're a fan of the series skip it and get Samurai Shodown II on XBL instead. Really, you may play through the story with one, maybe two characters but after that you won't bother with it anymore :(

Come on Kaiser, don't act like you're above cracking a joke or two in a thread. I've seen you do it before.

If it's any consolation, I do think it's a neat idea (for peripherals that will actually fit in a UGC of course.)

Nope I'm definitely not. By far. I made my jokes (or at least comments that I thought were funnny ;) )

I can't recall making any in a request thread though. If I have and you find one than I apologize and shame on me for being a hypocrite, but I think I haven't.
No, in all seriousness, you make a request and you hope someone helps you, you log on and see a new post in your thread, you click it and you see...nothing. It's just a bit disappointing that's all.

If I can dish it out I should be able to take it right ;) No harm taken, it's all good. But really, please people, if you don't bring anything to the table don't post in other peoples' request threads.

rant over ;)
