TY. :) Speaking of old covers, i have been working on Vectrex covers and overlays (for myself) over the last 6 months or so. It would be nice to host them here as Vectrex stuff of any use is REAL (to the power of 10) hard to find. There are problems (overlays dont fit in a UGC, carts are a wierd size)but i can live with that. Its a superb old machine and would sit well with all our other oldies. ;)

Would the carts(Manuals) fit in any kind of case? I suppose the overlays won't fit anywhere ;D but those can be kept seperately....

Sorry Tik, never noticed this reply (its normaly pretty quite in the oldies section  ;)). The carts are slightly bigger than a Game Gear cart and about as thick as a SNES one is in the middle, or at it thickest. Overlays are WAAAAAY bigger than any kind of useable case, so they have to stay out of the box.

Shark! Shark! (Intellivision/U.S)

A game all Intv owners should have, the forerunner to Feeding Frenzy on XBLA. Still great fun today. Bought one from the bay at a reasonable price just for this box, i allready had an un-boxed one.

Boxing (Intellivision)

Picked this up again(lent my first copy out and never saw it again...there's a lesson there). Made up a fictional 'in the style of' back as i have the one with no writing on and those horrible cuts in it. (Made that version too for the purists..minus cuts of course). As a footnote, i believe this completes the Mattel Sports Network for the site. ;D

If i had still got the cart, i would have gone for it but when i received the new copy, i reboxed it and took it to the local independant game shop in town. I get on well with the owner there so he lets me put stuff in the cabinet to sell with no mark up for himself. Now i have had a couple of INTV and VCS games that have been in there months but Shark! went on the second day, maybe cos its a little rarer. It's a shame as i would have liked to pass it out to someone in the project. Whenever i get a dupe in future, i will let you know mate.

First new Atari cover in ages. Found this at a car boot sale with a couple of other titles.

Popeye (Intellivision)

Good old Parker Bros. Change the packaging design again. This is more or less 'as is' except i added the shot of Popeye's head to the spine (well im not positive it was not on the original as i have cart only and have not seen the spine) so as to match Frogger's cover. Actually quite a good little game taking in to account the Intv's graphical shortcomings. As a side note, this cover weighs in at about 3.2 megs which is about 206 times bigger than the actual game cart itself.  ;)

What I really love about the Intv is it's sounds. ;D

Especially the soundtrack of Tron: Maze-A-Tron is unforgettable for me.... ;D

Oh yes...INTV had nice sound in its day. I loved Tron : Solar Sailer's music and especially the speech. Trying to remember the binary codes was a nightmare though (could have written them down but that's cheating  ;))

Spider-Man (2600)

One i started ages ago but only just finished. Problem was that whoever owned it before me got the front water damaged and it had a kind of mottled effect all over it. I could'nt find a better scan so had to use my copy and repair it as much as i could, and believe me, it was a mind numbing process. Hence its taken a year to finish it it 20 minute bursts!  ;). Its an ok game, would have been better if Spidey was animated a little better (actually, make that 'at all'). Very much like the old Crazy Climber arcade game. The front pic reminds me of the old Spider-Man cartoon of the seventies.
