Print an outline around Covers?
(1/2) > >>
Firefly636:
So, i'm using adobe photoshop CS2 to print all my covers.
I'm not very experienced with the program, but all i'm wanting to do is be able to print a black outline around the covers that I print out.
This would make it much easier for me to cut out predominately white colored covers.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, on June 8th i'll be getting a CANOSCAN LIDE 200 flatbed scanner, and i'll be uploading a lot of ps1 raws and 360 retail game covers.
Just wanted to let people know, and if you'd like a list I could post it.

Yeah I do the same thing, makes cutting easier, it's easy.  Double click on the layer and add a stroke.

Could you go a little more in-depth with that?
It's not doing anything when i double click?
Zelimpdna:
If you're printing a dvd-case cover, I recommend UnderCoverXP, a free little [<1mb] program which automatically adds cutting guidelines when it prints.

For UGC covers, I usually just create a new image, a few pixels larger than the cover, which is black. Then you just copy+paste the cover on that. But MisterCreazil's suggestion sounds like it might be easier.
