I got the first vote in .... yeah baby!!!!  ;D

Actually though ..... I don't really give a toss for NES as I dont have one. But the red text white background logo is also used on N64 and SNES cases so I like  #4 just for consistency.

It appears everyone likes # 4 so far.
But I have to admit, when the NES project first was mentioned, I thought it would die a quick dead due to the fact that the boxes are so old anf hard to get. I have really been impressed with the results so far.
I think I have a couple of NES boxes to scan, I just have to find them.
But I have like 100 NES games and doubt I will case them - the N64 was hard enough. :)

I agree with everyone else, #4 looks the best out of the 4.

Agreed. It was a tough call for me between 3 and 4, but 4 won out.

I'm going to redo my orignal scan. It seems somewhat blurry to the white one eightcell made. Due to that, I think this poll is somewhat invalid until I have that done. I'll have the redone spine up tomorrow for comparison.

Cheers.

I think the poll isn't necessarily about using this particular version .... just an indicator of what we like best colour scheme wise. We can worry about the template after we've come up with a winner  ;D

Number 4 for me. But no complaints about number 3.
No Metroid on N64, What was Nintendo thinking? ;)

What will throw a kink into this is someone's suggestion for using multi dvd cases to store NES games.

Wow beaten to the punch! Good work eightcell! I feel like this project has been snached from benith my feet! Well alls fair in NES cover insert war, so I think I'll just admit defeat.

Becides, I don't object if the white cover eightcell made becomes the standard. After all, I can just edit his cases with the black and red logo for my own personal use if needbe.

Eightcell (or anyone else), by any chance do you happen to have the River City Ransom box art? RCR is my absolute favorite NES game of all time and I'd like to case it.

Later tonight I'll post all the covers I've made so far for comparison with eightcell's. Until then,

Cheers.

There's no defeat here, this project really took off  after YOU have joined and made the first covers. Since then other people were motivated to contribute aswell all thanks to your efforts. And this project hasn't been snatched from beneath your feet, there's just some minor compromises. That's democracy, I know it sucks ;)
