For many years I have been a taker and not a giver.  I have approximately 300 original games (and about 200 in their original boxes including some rare stuff like the GX4000 console - if the site wants to diversify) which I will be uploading as soon as I go down to the local store and buy me a new scanner ( the HP scanjet I have is on it's last legs).

In particular I would like to thank this site for pointing me toward the universal case and an international supplier.  I have been looking for these for years particularly so I can flat-pack away my SNES and N64 Boxes in a dark place (most are in mint condition).  Hence my gratitude will be shown with plenty of uploads starting in about a weeks time.  I have been buying carts from Game Traders without boxes so I am sure my efforts will be repaid by this site.

I have heaps (about 100) already scanned in 150dpi (five of which I uploaded last week under another pseudonym [actually my middle name] ...hmm maybe I need a dictionary for the big words).  However, after reading the guide I feel a little guilty for providing the lower quality scans so I will be scanning in 300 dpi for now on.

The big question is:  Do you want me to scan and size for the Universal case, or do I upload in the original size?  let me know.

Hi, and welcome to the project. Great news that you have lots of covers, I'm excited to see what they are.
If you plan to create covers for the Universal Game Cases then you could resize your finished cover to the proper dimensions. If you lack the Photoshop skills and just want to provide scans that others will work with and create covers from, then just scan them at 300dpi and leave them the way they are. There are enough people on this board who would be more than willing to work with your raw scans to create covers.

Again, welcome to the project!

Wecome to the project, this is how it grows - new people coming in willing to contribute.

I started off the same way as you, downloading and watching. I finally got motiviated by TheValeman as he was working so hard on the N64 covers (which is what I was interested in).
I ordered up the universal cases and started collecting up N64 boxes and started scanning. It has become an addiction....

Speaking of TheValeman, it appears you are just across the creek from him.

Again, wlecome to the project.  ;D

Hey there,

I guess you being in Aussie that your covers will be PAL? Unless you're like me and have converted to the NTSC Empire  ;D

And yep ..... if you have issues with creating covers just get the raw scans uploaded and wshbrngr or myself will convert them to covers.

Attn: TheValeman

Yup, nearly all are PAL.  I do have some NTSC but not much.  I dont play games much (collect them rather like stamps) but when I do I prefer the extra 96 lines of resolution over the extra 10 frames ps (or for most games at half framerate, 5 frames ps (ok 4.97 but whose counting))....But I guess you meant that you prefered NTSC Cover Art.

Great game the other night...the black caps were terrific chasing the baggy greens 340 at the WACA.  Almost got there to.  (That should confuse those of the hoops and bases persuasion). Good luck against the Poms tomorrow.

Hahaha ..... Yeah .... they have such a bad season I call them the Black Craps .... then they go and almost pull off a miracle the other night. Geez .... talk about inconsistent!!!

Here's hoping it heralds a turn around and we deal to to the English tonight followed by a crushing victory over your guys. No one has come close to the Aussie's in recent times and it would be great for the spectators to have a close competition.

Yes.  Watched the whole thing whilst scaning Intellivision DK.  Great effort.  Your guys need to stop eating all that greasy food before they go out to play though.  Makes for slippery hands.  Maybe our American friends can recommend a fielding coach (from their baseball leagues).  Thats what we Aussies have you know.

I think after the 50 run defeat of the magnificent (???...OK Marginal then...Alright, the bloody awful) Poms, Ponting and the boys will be scared SH**LESS.
