Back in 2007 I was hopeful I'd see a Xexyz cover someday. I still hope that day will come.

I'm scanning the box now. Will upload them shortly.

Xexyz [US]

EDIT: Sorry, it's been a while since I uploaded raws.

Phhhewwww... The creator of this cover will have a heck of a time as the box is pretty much beat up.... The front is really unsharp too. Would be nice to rescan it with some additional weight on the box... The best is to open up the box make it flat and put some heavy books on it for scanning then it will be much sharper and more usable even though the box itself is badly damaged.

EDIT: I'll show ya cause I got the game myself.... ;)

I was motivated so I just made the cover for the game myself...

It's 90% at the moment but i will finish it today in the night after work....

Made it with my own scans to show you the difference.... ;)

Done:

I especially tried to make the front look sharper!

Wow, whoever designed that cover originally (i.e. not you Tiktektak) had no sense of design.  That cover art in a box look is just terrible!

Been lurking since I got my first wii sports cover so many moons, first time posting.  That Bubble Bobble 2 makes me happy.  I know this isn't the right venue for it but if one could get a Duck Tales 2, Rescue Rangers 2, Flinstones 2, and Dragon Warrior 3 my rare game shelf would be looking sexy.

:o as IGN would say, my  frothing demand for this cover increases.

I can't believe I actually am seeing this. Xexyz is so obscure I was sure I'd never see a cover. What's next? Wall Street Kid?  :D

Actually that wouldnt be too difficult to recreate.   ;)
Here are some links for some decent scans to use as a base to recreate the cover.

Well I got Akumu to make that Bubble Bobble 2 cover by scanning my label off the cart and he just re-created the back from scratch. If you can get nice label scans of your carts (I scan my labels at 700dpi) and can find scans of the back like I do you can probably make it happen. This is the best way to do it as it wont be easy to find people with boxes of any of those games. Im gonna need all of those accept Dragon Warrior 3 so that would help me out too. If you can scan your labels Im sure I can find back scans.

1200dpi would be even better when you attempt to use a label scan for a full cover. It's real luck that those NES cart lables are so huge otherwise they would be hardly useable for a front cover...

Unfortunately those scans are not really high res.

The ones on mobygames are pretty damaged as well.

No I don't mean actually use those scans for the cover. I mean using them
as a base (guideline) for recreating the cover entirely. The cover is mostly just cartoon based so the front should be able to be cleaned up with vectormagic. The back image has legible text so it can be retyped. I am WELL aware that the scans are too low Rez but they are suitable for RECREATING the entire cover.
