French SNES games are compatible with all PAL SNES consoles, so I would assume it's the same with the NES.

Europe has two versions of NES which are not compatible without modding:
PAL A / Mattel in UK.
PAL B rest of Europe.

Perhaps the last piece to my NES template puzzle?

Short box converted to long box PAL NES part of the 8-bit template. Grumbleduke wanted it "PAL-able" so here goes. Its based from the label and the short box, hope you guys like it.

As close as i could get to what the real release of Final Fantasy II would have looked like. Vectormagic helped me a lot with the front part of the cover, the logo was redrawn in illustrator and the back info was from square enix's site about the PSP rerelease. As always the images are just for previewing purposes. I also made a simple recolored map for the inlay but it it difficult to preview it.

Final Fantasy II
Universal Game Case Cover

Cart Label

Printable Box

(both parts of the box are not shown to scale next to one another)

Tell me what you think!  ;D

I really like the idea of the printable box. Do you have a template for this [or any other box sizes?]

I especially like this idea for Game Boy and related games, as it's difficult to get UK DS cases in Australia and I have 50+ GB/GBC/GBA/Lynx games sitting around uncased.

Funny thing is, i'm not a final fantasy fan either ... yet i keep making covers for the series. JRPGs just take too long to play and since i get busier as each day passes it probably won't change anytime soon. Glad you like it.

I have not made a template and I would feel really guilty making one. I got the basic "shape" for the boxes from a french covers site. They have an assortment of boxes for a bunch of systems. You have to sign up for a membership but its free.

Yeah Ive made a few labels for the FF games for my roomies reproduction carts. Hes a big FF fan. I could never play these either. Just action RPG's for me. Turn based combat doesnt work for me. The whole I hit you, you hit me back. More like I hit you then get out of the way then hit you again! Thats the way I roll lol.

Here's a few I made using scans from the French site shenske linked to.

WIPs until barcodes can be found/made.

Disney Adventures in the Magic Kingdom

Rainbow Islands: Bubble Bobble 2

Rygar

EDIT: I've replaced the Nintendo logo on the spine with the publisher logo for all three, and rewritten the blue text on the back of Rainbow Islands, removing the French.

I don't have scans of the US boxes, sorry.

If you want, I'll upload them to box.net in their current state, without the proper barcodes.

Or you can wait until I find a scan/a way to make them.

*sigh* I just spent the last couple of hours doing google searches looking for these barcodes. Why didn't I look back at TCP in that time?

Anyway, thank you for the barcodes. I'd managed to find Adventures in the Magic Kingdom and Rygar, but I couldn't find Rainbow Islands.

Here they are.
