I was pretty unhappy with the way my last cover looked. This revision looks less retail but the new colors & design looks better overall.  I'm unsure if i should just replace my old coer with this one or just upload this one along side of it (when we get the chance to up them  :) )

Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt / World Class Track Meet

here is the old cover

The red definately is more readable than the old orange.

Has anyone ready made NES covers uploaded, but not yet posted on the site?

If you have would you PLEASE post the links to them, as the site is stalled as you may have noticed.

I stated before that i was working on an in depth Nintendo 8-Bit Template that will make recreating covers a breeze.  As many of you know fining high rez scans of these old games can be quite difficult. Hopefully this template can assist in recreating some of the old 8-Bit covers. I'm debating on some minor Famicom decisions with the template so its not quite ready yet. I'll upload it to the site soon though. As with all my templates everything is completely editable and includes pretty much every option you'll need to make your cover.

NES Classic 80s

NES Classic Arcade

NES Newer 90s

NES Tengen

Famicom (already previewed in other thread)

Let me know what you think :)

You are truly godly at this. This template is precisely what the NES project needs for games that's original scans are so difficult to come by they probably will never materialize. This is a big step forward to the ultimate goal of us one day featuring all, or at least most of the games released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The future of both the NES and Famicom cover projects are much brighter now thanks to your efforts. I'll be sure to submit my own results too.

As always Professional Templates.
I look forward to getting my 30+ Famicom games in cases finally! I also noticed that new covers are finally being uploaded again. I'll have to cross check what games I don't have cases for and start getting more...

Hey guys, I haven't been active for a long time but I've started making custom covers again. I don't have the original boxes so I try to make it look as legit as possible. Just finished one for Rescue: The Embassy Mission. I've uploaded it to the site and waiting for approval.

I'll be working on making custom covers for the following games in the near future:

Air Fortress
Bases Loaded
Skate or Die

My hero! I've been eagerly awaiting an Air Fortress cover since mid 2006! Could I special request that one first please? Also, Rescue is one badass NES game. Great to see a cover for it finally.

Oh I guess it could be  ;)

Problem is the template is already pushing 20mb! I'm considering cutting Famicom out and making it its own template.

I really like what you have put together as a template shenske.
I really like your version of the Famicom box a lot more then the one in the template folder..

Here is my first NES box:

From what I could see no one had made one for Spy vs Spy.
I lost my box a long time ago so I had to rebuild it with what I could find online and using Flash and Photoshop to make it looks nice.
