1. I looked for the best image I could find online, then I resized it to match your cover..
2. Once it was the right size, I rotated the image to make the line horizontal/vertical instead of angled.
3. Then I traced all the colors using mostly the brush tool with a sharp, square edge..
4. Did the motion trails using the smudge tool.
5. Once the image was clean, I rotated it back to the proper angle.

Took about 3 hours or so to complete.

thanks. i tried to do it the same way you did, but i ended up losing track of the rotations. it looks like you used the front from the gameboy advance case thats on here, which i only found after i had uploaded them. but seriously thanks it looks much better and much more original now.

i put the new front on and re-uploaded them.

I used a mid quality NES cover scan I found on ebay as the base.. But of course it had to be completely retraced.
