i noticed http://www.nintendoage.com has some nice low res images of front and back covers, if anyone else is deseperate you could steal some low res images and make covers until we get more high res ones

Indeed. Who would have imagined that when we were bleeping away with NES etc, we would play games that look the way they do today.

I loved the arcade version of BC... had the C64 one back then....awesome SID soundtrack. I must have sold all the old tape based stuff at car boots, all i can find now is "The Sentinal". That still loads up ok.

Changed a few bits. Original had the front art condensed down to the bottom left corner and a grey border containing the MB and license info. I thought the art was good enough to fill the whole front. Did away with the grey border from the back too.

i retyped all of the text, as well as replaced all of the logos. its amazing what you can accomplish when you fiddle with photoshop for a couple of days. i finally figured out how to play with layers, as well as replace some font.

so what do you think?

Everything you remade looks great but the screenchots and filmshots on the back look pretty pixelated....

The front as well... Could it be that you took this from little low res images?

actually the images were 300 dpi, but the scans weren't that good. i could probably replace the front with a better scan from the movie box, since it seems there are many of those around on the internet, the only difference being the image would be reversed.

ok, so i replaced everything on the cover, including the screen shots and the shots from the movie. i uploaded it a custom cover, since i changed basically everything there was on the cover.

Quality-wise it looks perfect now.... Much sharper and cleaner look with the better screens and pictures....

Two minor things....

The Nintendo seal of quality looks huge on the front... Wouldn't a smaller one be more decent... The game name on the spine is huge too... Maybe also making it a bit smaller would be nicer....

the quality seal is a little large. it was about that size on the original cover, but with the newer front it does look out of place. i can make the spine title smaller as well.
