--- Quote from: Akumu on July 04, 2008, 07:46:31 AM ---yeah but often i have to scan the label which you know is much smaller and also some are quite damaged so needs alot of cleaning up. --- End quote --- Ahhhh now I understand everything better.... If you often use labels for the fronts I have to say that they look really really good for such a source... I thought blowing up the pixels of such a small scan(even if scanned at high dpi) would make the front look really ugly.... How comes that your fronts look not too bad? I mean besides Kung-Fu everything looks just a bit rough or unsharp/unclean but nothing too bad... Weird.... |

I just scan them and clean out the really really bad pixels and dirt that may appear. I don't have my kung fu cart anymore but i remember it using the Japanese artwork here instead of the sprite art that the US and UK used (like with most the sports titles and Super Mario Bros.) so i just tracked down the biggest picture i could find of it and tried out something |

Mega Man - NES EU Dr.Wily's face was badly scratched, so it took a fair amount of work with the clone tool to erase the scratches. I think it turned out very well. The cover itself is just slightly better than the horrible US cover, but it still looks pretty bad compared to the Japanese Rock Man boxart. http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/Dante_Ali.retail.nes_megaman-nes-eu_eu.jpg |
