I know this wasn't one of the covers I mentioned earlier, but I couldn't help but want to make this. It ended up being more time-consuming than I had originally hoped, however, believe it or not. At any rate, here's Super Mario Bros. 2!

I think the pink looks very well. The original box was light blue was it not?!

Light Blue and Pink go hand and hand. So I think it fits it pretty well.

i think the pink works because that was the color of "Super Mario Bros. USA" in japan.
(aka Super Mario Bros 2 for us in the USA)

built completely from the ground up.
All text is rewritten, new back images, new reworked barcode etc.
(front image is cleaned up using Vector Magic)

Looks cool! I think the "vector effect" ends up looking pretty neat.

Oh wow, Tengen Tetris! I remember when I bought this, I was so excited it came in an insert and I scanned it and it was one of the first NES covers here. That was so long ago now ;D I cant wait to see the enhanced version you made shenske. One thing to note: I think that the Tentris spine logo is too bright for its own good. Please see about correcting the brightness before it adds to the project.

Wow i feel stupid.  :P
i didn't realize there was already Tengen Tetris on the site.
That would have been a lot easier to use the cover thats already on the site.

i'll look into fixing the logo on the spine, i had to guess what it originally was and i was wrong.

When I bought my copy of Tengen Tetris, it came in a hard plastic shell not unlike the UMCs. It also had an insert, not unlike UMCs. But instead of paper, the insert was fairly thick cardboard with dents and creases. I had tried to work with it, but it pales in comparison to what you've done. I hope to see this cover added to the project in the near future!

I had finished my very first cover for "Urban Champion" :D
My original case was already ruined when I bought it. I think it was dropped into a puddle or left in the rain. So, I remastered the case as accurate as possible, such as retyping the text and re-edited the picture.
That case is from Canada, so you will notice some differences, primarily the English and French languages.

I made two versions...

The first one is for the universal game cases...

The second one is a template for creating an actual box. It's about 98% accurate to its original boxes. This requires a wider printer to print from. Just paste the cover onto a paperboard, cut, and fold.

oh cool, i need both those covers for my nes collection  ;D
i would recommend maybe doctoring the wrestlemania cover a bit.  it looks pretty gray and a little worn compared to the black nes label on the spine.

good job akumu
