Well, to be quite honest, it's much easier to clean up old boxes than it is to convert CD-sized art into DVD-size.

Like with Top Gun 2, I actually have an almost pristine box for that game.

I am still awaiting a few from ebay.

I wonder what the hold up is on NES covers getting approved.

Yeah my Top Gun 2 cover is badly sun faded.

I guess it's just a sign of being anal retentive as a child, but, all of the games I had for NES when we bought it in 1987 still look like the day we purchased them.

I would throw the boxes in the trash and just keep the game and case.

SNES and Genesis came out, which I got, being spoiled and all the NES games (I want to say 100 or so) were given to my nephew-in-law by my dad.

Wash rinse and repeat for every console since. Except replace nephew-in-law with friend, guy down the street, etc..

Hell even all my original dreamcast games and first DC were given to an ex girlfriend for her son when I got the original xbox.

Then I decided to become a collector and am spending a fortune rebuying all this stuff.

I am just thankful that some people kept the boxes so I can rebuy them. I am surprised by video store sells too, the games are often in the worse shape but the boxes in the best as they were never put on a shelf, just flattened and filed away.
