Retail - Missing Warranty Info

Original:

Actually, no it's not. All it needs is the logo moved up a little bit on the spine, and a "TM" added and it's perfect.

:) Feel free to modify.  The original was lost in a disk failure.

GOLF GRAND SLAM

It's been a while - a change in my assignments at work (where I normally have the time to do these) has left me without a lot of time to work on covers, but I'm still doing what I can.

I bought this game on eBay for scanning purposes. The bottom was crushed more than I thought, so I had to piece the grass in from another source, therefore it's not perfect. It's workable, though.

The logo and back were rebuilt from scratch. Screens are close but not retail accurate.

Retail Custom:

TCP-Style:

Oobgarm, your covers are very nice. I examined this one and felt it meets site standards. I was going to post it but the resolution is 96 dpi? Did you save it incorrectly? It was built using TCP templates which are 300 dpi. Can you go back to your source file and save it at the proper dpi?

UPDATE: I've been going through much of your work posted on this forum.  I see some areas that needs clean-up and I don't mind doing that myself (would probably take just a few minutes but looks like all them them have been rendered at 96 dpi. Please re-render at 300 dpi and re-submit your work.

The Japanese cover for Legend of the Ghost Lion looks so awesome! Think you could possibly make some sort of English custom and label? you do outstanding work!

Where can I download Legend of the Ghost Lion?

Noticed nbart711 recently took a stab at updating our current cover for The Guardian Legend. While he was off to a good start, it made me realise just how bad our current covers were really in need of an updating. So I went ahead and practically rebuilt the cover from the ground up.

I was recently printing out some covers for NES games I've got, and when looking at the Baseball cover, I only just realized how messy it was, as it seems to be a mediocre scan that wasn't ever really touched up.

I fixed up the cover, and got most of it looking good.  Hopefully this can help somebody looking for a decent quality Baseball cover.
Click it to download the file if you need.

Here's the link to the original for comparison

I tried to put together a few NES covers today.

I know the "2" on the probotector front does not look very clean, but i couldn't do it any better.
Is anyone able to build a Probotector logo as vector graphic?

Probotector 2: Return of the Evil Forces (PAL B, NES-PD-NOE, German Box)

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles 2: The Arcade Game (PAL B, NES-89-NOE, German Box)

I have revisited my Blue Shadow(=Shadow of the Ninja) Cover, i tried to remove some of the distortion on the front.
I tried the same on the DuckTales front... but i don't know - nothing seems to be satisfying enough. One time the image noise is to much, then it is to blurry... I just kept it as it is now.

Hope they are okay.

Blue Shadow (PAL A, NES-27-UKV, English Box)

DuckTales 1 (PAL B, NES-P-UK, German Box)

Since my original boxes are the PAL and not the NTSC versions, i modified the (very good) existing covers that can be found here on TCP.

@larryinc64 & Shenske
Please let me know if you don't want that i share these covers here - since they are basically "yours"!

Super Mario Bros. 1 (PAL, NES-P-SM, German Box)

Super Mario Bros. 3 (PAL, NES-P-UM, German Box)

Finally i've got a new Probotector (Contra) cover!
Unfortunately my box is damaged in upper right area. I tried to repair it as good as possible.

Probotector 1 (PAL B, NES-77-NOE-2, German Box)

Castlevania 2: Simons Quest (PAL B, NES-QU-EEC, English Box)

I used 190coelho's cover as base (i kept the sharp logos and the back screenshots).
The rest has ben done from scratch.

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles 1 (PAL B,  NES-88-EEC, English Box)

I used Shenske's (?) cover as base, the PAL Box is nearly identical.
I've changed texts and some logos, also the "Hero" in TM-H-T.

If you can provide me with a hi-res scan, I can certainly do that.

Keep up the good work, btw.

Hi Shenske. I have scans of these NES games (600 DPI):

Death Race:

https://app.box.com/s/8bu7s38ncx0hnxja6rnmoc86a2jllgb2

Blackjack:

https://app.box.com/s/2juv8gldqdbyvsead8c5quq9drud5x29

Thanks

Awesome! Thank you very much!

Small problem though. The way your cropped the images it slightly removes part of the left part of the front box scans. Death Race should be a huge deal as that one is very minimal. Blackjack its a relatively decent chunk. Would you mind rescanning the front image for that one? Could you also scan it so the spine is on the other side? Since the art stretches from the front of the box to the spine it will make my life easier if they are next to one another.

Thanks again :)
