Actually, no. The font on the spine is serif. Here is the scan of the actual box. They used the same font as the Tengen logo.

I stand corrected. Didn't seem so on the original(s)...

But on second thought, maybe it is, but not as pronounced. Look at the ends of the "C". Looks flat on the licensed version, just like the dash. Am I right?

And is serpentine the spine font too? On both versions?

I'm not sure on that version, but all of the unlicensed Tengen games I've seen use that font

GOLF POWER

This one was pretty simple, just haven't had a lot of time for cover making. Game is no fun, luckily getting screens was easy.

Finished up this puppy.  This is an interpretation of the Miracle piano poster..  Also some inspiration from Uncle Tusk! :)

I can add the real "Software Toolworks" Logo after I scan something I have from home.  All the logos I found on the web were pretty poor. :(  But the one of the horse with the Nintendo games from the title screen I liked better anyway..  Since this title didn't have a "retail" NES box other than that "Miracle" piano box itself I figured why not.. I may re-visit it when I get the logo, but if someone else wants to.. Go for it!! :)

WOoo!! On a roll today!! :)  Here is ANOTHER one!!  Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates!

This was a huge pain in the rear.  The font doesn't 100% match the retail, but it's so close I didn't bother to try any harder. THQ logo was made from scratch.  The flag could use work, but it's meant to look ratty in general..

Hey CMD, how do you download your images, specifically Peter Pan?  There doesn't seem to be a link.

Only thing is that most of those images are small and really can't be used for good quality covers. The effort is appreciated, though!

I use OneDrive.. its free and unlimited bandwidth..   There is a "Download Here" with a link to the folder in each post.  If you go to my "Missing Covers" thread, there also is a link to the main OneDrive with ALL the covers for EVERYTHING NES.. (TCP STYLE)

For fox's peter pan the link is.. http://1drv.ms/1q4dJVs
Enjoy!

Cool, they are a little on the small side.. If you scanned these, if you could re-scan with a high DPI, that would be awesome!  We need at least 300DPI, if not higher.   Also, we need the spine images as well..  You can stack them all together  on their sides and scan them all at once if that works.

The absolute best quality scans come when you can de-construct the box and lay it flat on the scanner.  Then use a heavy piece of cardboard or a book (I use a DVD Box Set) to help keep it flat against the glass of the scanner.

You also need to turn on "De-screen" or "Moire Removal" to help keep the images clean.

Any you could do would help immensely!
