Decided I was bored and pulled this off in 3 or 4 hours of tediousness.

I say "style" because I can't find anything that shows me what the spine on the left looks like. I'm not convinced there's any scans of such online. Couldn't afford to get a good box to scan, but I was able enough to find a decent enough front graphic (especially after tweaking what I could) and reconstruct the rest. I tried uploading this, but the game isn't in the list. Was sad. :(

I searched ebay.. and found a spine picture..  Art continues on both sides.  There was a poster for this, so should be possible to do the spine art as well.

Cleaned up the cover of yours a little,  If you download Shenske's template, it makes it a breeze, as most of the legal and seals are already ready! :)

Biggest issue I noted with your original was the "For use with the Nintendo entertainment system" was misspelled.

Also did a long version of the spine.

All the Tengen covers were pretty much the same on the site (save for a couple spine sizing, etc..) Road Runner was the only one I saw that was different.  Anyway, here it is.. all updated and what not..

Was that yours OOBGARM?  Nice work!  What was the font you used for the red letting on the back?

Would you believe that it's just Times New Roman Bold Italic? I did Photoshop faux bold as well to give the letters more rounded edges.

I can't guarantee that it's totally accurate, though. It looks like the words "beep beep" are the only things that should be italicized. When I made that one last year, I wasn't shooting for 100% accuracy. I'll have to revisit it sometime.

I believe it :).  I wanted to fix the Italics issue.. In the retail of the game the words "Ready Set Go..." aren't italicized, but the BEEP BEEP is.  I couldn't find a font to match the Back of indy, but I got one close.  It's definitely a font in the Baskerville family..

Dang guys this thread has been pumping lately, it's too flippin' awesome!

Really glad to see we've finally got a cover for Space Shuttle (with the correct image), thanks CMDLineKing, but I have to ask why does the "Official Nintendo Seal" label have a stroke effect? Just looks kinda odd, the original for comparison "http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5c/Space_Shuttle_Project_Cover.jpg", not trying' to be pushy or a pest, but I'm guessing you're going for an accurate retail look with all the work you've put in, other than that though it really is fantastic.

Here's what I use on mine:

Many (if not all of the NES boxes) have a ™ instead of the ®, but that's a difference I'm ok with.

Also, great work on that Space Shuttle cover!

Thanks.. :)  That stupid offer thing took forever.. But I made it out of default Photoshop shapes and pulled the yellow shuttle out of the original, cleaned it up a bit and added a stroke to it.. came out pretty good.. :) I was saddened though, I did all that layer work, and flattened it to copy over to the main document.  I forgot I flattened it and saved the changes. :'(..
