SEICROSS

I bought this on eBay to scan so I had a decent source to work with. One of the cover sellers on eBay had this for sale (and it had the TCP-style cover), so I'd think it has existed somewhere, but no luck. It was a relatively cheap purchase, at least.

The logo was fun to re-draw. The front was tough to get looking decent. Maybe it wasn't a great scan or just poor source quality, but I did what I could with it. The back is totally re-done from scratch. Screens are not retail accurate.

I am extremely grateful for this.  This was the only game in my collection with no cover on it!  Thanks a lot!

GOAL! TWO

Thanks to Dreamcast99 for the scans on this one.

Another Jaleco title with a weird, upside-down spine. I've made a third cover on this one for the retail one, flipping it so it's in line with everything else.

Everything on this cover with the exception of the flags, soccer ball and the guy on the front has been re-done from scratch. I grabbed the flags from a source online. Screens are kinda close but not retail accurate.

All things considered, this one was pretty easy to do. (I'm glad I don't have to have a zoomed-in view of this dude's crotch on my screen, to be honest)

I saw that there was going to be a cover of this one made sometime soon - but I had one that was pretty much done. So, I'll put it up here. The reason I didn't finish this one is because it doesn't have great source material, and I was waiting for a scan or something to show up. So perhaps when the other one gets made, the two can be combined. I didn't want all of the work I'd put into it to go to waste. Looks like going forward, I won't be holding onto mostly-complete covers while I wait to get better art (as to not waste anyone's time or money).

This one has a fully re-drawn logo as well as the "Camerica medal", and everything on the back(except for the characters) has been re-done from scratch. Screens don't match and were difficult to source. I also took a bit of artistic license with this one, as there's typically a star-shaped punch in the front of Camerica boxes. The punch covered up much of a creature on the front, so I omitted him completely since there were no good sources to recreate it.

It was quite helpful to have done other Camerica titles previously, as much of their layouts are re-used.

I'm not sure i can do any better then this. Great Job. I will scan the box i have for those that want 'retail accurate' covers.

STREET COP

I can see why some of these Bandai games have been left undone - they've got a lot going on in the background. Only thing I didn't like about this one is that the spine didn't line up with the back - at least, it didn't on the scan. This game is no fun to play and wasn't easy getting decent screens with different backgrounds.

Outside of that, it was fairly easy. Everything except the main images on front and back were rebuilt. Screens are not retail accurate.

WILD GUNMAN

I did this one early last year for my black box project, but I never thought to upload it here once I joined the forums.

I re-did the front entirely with pixel accuracy, the only exception being his eyes. (just like the retail box)

It's based off of a European box, but I did research a US one to get it close. Screens are not retail accurate.

Didn't get much of a chance to work on this.. but if someone could help with the Fonts, I'd appreciate it!..
Anyone who's worked on Tengen know the back fonts? I need to identify all three (Red on top, description, and screenshots).

I think the font is Kabel. I could be wrong.

Which one?

I think the red font on the top is a type of Baskerville Font, the others I am having more trouble identifying.. :(  The Spine is Serpentine..

Decided I was bored and pulled this off in 3 or 4 hours of tediousness. This is mainly reconstructed; the scans out there are pretty lossy and I don't have the box.

Here we have TCP style. FULL SIZE-> https://www.dropbox.com/s/h813du6wmfnex92/startropics2coverTCP.jpg

And here we have retail "style". FULL SIZE -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/l6c9hr9flkmdz8u/startropics2coverRETAIL.jpg

I'm not sure if I'd have bothered making it if I had noticed someone else already did, but I'm glad I did since it's far less lossy.

It's in the list, as Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II. There's already a cover made for it, as a matter of fact:

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=5465

Good work on what you did, though. It's clean, which I like. The text on the red bar across the top doesn't match - I'd use resources from already-made covers to get it just right.

The actual retail spine continues the artwork on the front. It would definitely take a nice scan to get that part done. (I have one coming to do just that)

Oh, so the official name is backwards sorta. Thanks for pointing out that it's there.

I managed to get the proper font where you were talking about. Thanks for that suggestion.
