Bandit Kings of Ancient China

I would peg this cover at about 95% accurate. The box images I used as a reference were super low rez. I had problems making out the second screenshot. So I did my best. The cover art came from the instruction manual provided by WolfAlmighty.

Which resolution scan did you use, so I can use the same resolution next time?

Any suggestions on how to touch these up in photoshop? I have good scans of a game but can't get the screenshots to come out ok. I have scanned at a higher res and used brightness/contrast and some of those tools but the pics still have that scanned look. Suggestions?
