Sorry for the double post...

Looks cool! Just an FYI for Nightmare fans: The Nightmare on Elm Street blu-ray collection will be released in the USA next month. I got mine last year at Best Buy when they had exclusive rights to it. But next month you can get it anywhere in the USA!

Yea, I have been watching that set...because it ticks me off. I have not seen word on single releases of the movies in the pack...and I like most other Nightmare fans, picked up 1, 2, and 3 when they initially came out.

Bad move... You had to see the box set coming a mile away at some point. Just don't make the same mistake with the Friday the 13th series... they have 1, 2 and 3 on BD now too. Warner Bros bought the rights to both franchises -- or at least distribution rights. You can search for them at WBshop.com

Nightmare and Friday blus were released years ago, like late 2008 early 2009. New Line has flat out stated that they see no money in these franchises (said around late 2011/early 2012) It was stated 6 months ago that there was no plan to continue releasing the Friday films. Hopefully this changes. But this wasn't like the Bond films, where bankruptcy played a part. They just said the hell with it. And there doesn't seem to be a friday set in the works.
