Glad you like it!  I don't know what to say about getting a cover for the controller, however.  That's more Wiggy's department than mine, I'm afraid. ;D

OMG! I'm so sorry!

You know, I was going to put more that just regular covers there. That way I could have all my work in one place. but since you put it that way. I'll just take my post down completely.

There is a nicer way to say and do things.

Sorry but the forum has been cluttered too much in the last few month with new threads for a few covers. We established those dedicated threads aeons ago to avoid this.

Alright, so here it is.  Thanks to the incredible contributions and talents of segamer, I present you the USA licensed version of Flintstones - The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak!.

I'd also like to give a shout out to irvgotti for his unwitting participation in this cover.  The Hanna Barbera logo thingie on front as well as the screenshots on the back were stolen from his PAL cover for the game, so cheers for saving me the time of going through the game and grabbing them.  Hope you don't mind, mate! ;D  It took me longer than I thought to put this all together because I had to use a REALLY low-res scan for the back and so I had to make a few judgement calls on what font weight and spacing to use (but I know the font face itself is correct, FWIW), but I really wanted to make sure I did justice to segamer's awesome work, and hopefully I did!

Now it's on to Gun Nac où je dois taper le description du jeu en Français!  Whee!  Once I post it hopefully we have a francophone on the site who would be willing to give it a once-over and make sure I don't mistype anything since, like F2, I'll be working with a rather low-res image as a guide for the back.  And, as you can probably tell, my French is more than just a little rusty. ;D

@Wolf

Looks like he used the stuff I put out for you. I wonder what the back looks like.

Hard to say.  Damn vultures anyway. :-\

I'd originally written a nasty comment about the work being stolen but I changed it to be nicer. None the less, it's to be expected. I was like... damn.... it was taken before we even finished. In the future, I'll send you work via PM. That way it's at the very least gets finished before being auction off.

Sounds good.  The problem is you just did too good of a job.  Next time, shitty it up a bit and it won't get stolen! ;D  But seriously, as we get more and more popular and more covers get done this will be happening more and more and by more people.  The only thing we can try to do is get the word about TCP broadcast as much as possible.  Sneak and I have been pimping this site out as much as possible on NintendoAge and interest seems to be growing among new collectors who realise the boxes for these titles are getting to be outrageously priced but still want a nice way to protect and display their collection, so enter TCP.  We've also been spreading the word there about Seymor's cases so hopefully we can generate some more interest for him as well.

But yeah, I just love going to one of *those* sites and looking through their list of covers for sale and going, 'That one's mine, and that one's mine, ooh and that one's mine, too'.  Vultures.

Okay, so here's what I made for Gun Nac.  The screenshots are not pixel-accurate, but they're as close as I could get given what I had to work with.  Again, the back I had to use to make this was very low-res and grainy so if I made any mistakes in my French do let me know.  Otherwise, thanks as always to segamer for his amazing job at putting the front of this together!  Who'd have thought I'd have the top two covers marked off my list within the first half of January! :D

Looks good Wolf! Now, that you've finished these elusive covers, what do you consider the next most desirable NES covers?

Well think of it this way; your wife was willing to discuss a Nintendo game for an hour! ;D  Besides, one of my favourite things about Gun Nac are its unique scenarios.  Level 5 is extremely cool because it's all money themed, where coins, safes, bricks of gold bullion and the like are all out to get you.  It's not like most other spaceship games where you're just shooting aliens and other spaceships.  You can tell its a game that doesn't take itself too seriously (just read the text on the back, for instance), except for the fact that it's hard as hell.

Looks good Wolf! Now, that you've finished these elusive covers, what do you consider the next most desirable NES covers?

Glad you guys like it!  It took me longer to do than I thought it would due to the unusual bi-linear gradient background pattern it had, as well as trying to fumble through the French text on the back, but I'm pleased with the end result.  As for the next on my list, well, probably SCAT, like madrocsz suggested.  Great game, should also have a great cover to go along with it!  Aside from that, probably Wayne's World, Frankenstein, Godzilla 2, or Sqoon.  After all those I'd be under 20 left to go!
