WolfAlmighty, do you think you could work your awesome Uninvited cover into a NES cart label? The copy of Uninvited I have has a nasty gash in the label and I'd like to replace it with a reproduction label if possible. Thanks.

I don't actually know the dimensions/template for a label but I would imagine you should be able to take the cover and resize/crop whatever would be necessary to make one.  I've got so much on my plate right now, cover-wise, that I wouldn't have time to get to it anyway, but you're more than welcome to take what I've made and run with it. :)

Eliminator Boat Duel Scans

Cheers for those, I'll add them to my list.  I don't actually own this game so it'll probably be a while before I get to it.  And thanks for the barcode, too.  Are you trying to tell me you don't like my signature Arial-fonted barcodes? ;D

If that's the case then you probably won't be fond of my Alfred Chicken cover, either, I'm afraid. ;)

Speaking of which, has anyone else ever played this game?  I got it about six months or so ago and played it right when I got it and I gotta say it's a pretty fun obscure little game.  It's not terribly difficult, but it's got a charm to it and the controls are very responsive.  I was pleasantly surprised by it, so if you haven't tried it yet and you like quirky platformers, give it a go.

Edit:

Oh, and were you able to find that Lolo 3 cover on your computer, Arseen?

I assume DE is the original, so one (or all 3) are the ready craptastic cover.

Aw, shoot.  I was hoping you had the US version not the PAL version (tik's PAL version is already great work).  I have a copy of the US version that I got off the site somewhere but it's way too low-res to use.  I guess I'll just have to see if I have it in me to be able to work the PAL into the US release.  The back text and whatnot won't be too bad, but moving the Nintendo seal and the HAL logo on the front might be beyond me.  I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for trying, though! :)

My pleasure, mate!  I'll try to get another one up this week and maybe one or two more this weekend.  'Tis the season to make covers, I guess. ;D

Edit #3:

Rescue: The Embassy Mission - Not my best work, but the writing in the background makes this one a pain in the butt.  Hopefully it's at least serviceable.

Did you use my scan for this?

I would love a full retail cover from my scan.

And I KNOW what you mean about that horrible background!

Actually no.  I was going to try to use it to rework it into a US version, but I was able to get a US box for this game pretty cheap so I went ahead and picked it up and used that one instead.

Also, thanks to whoever uploaded all my covers to the site.  I'm sure it's quite a task to have to go through them one by one and check them for imperfections so hopefully they didn't require too much work. ;)

Next up - a cover with a background that's even more of a pain in the butt than that of Rescue the Embassy Mission.  I'm speaking, of course, about Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.  Not sure how long this one will end up taking me but I've spent a couple of hours just deciding the best way to go about doing it, so now it's just a matter of copious amounts of elbow grease. ;D

Alright, so after spending WAY more time on this than they probably spent actually making this horrible game, I finally finished Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

This cover alone probably took me three times longer than any of the rest I've done.  Now I need to take a break before moving on to something MUCH easier and less headache-inducing like Lemmings. :D

Cheers! :)  I've got 21 covers that I printed yesterday sitting on my floor awaiting the guillotine, and after that I'm down to 28 cover-less NES games, and I see that *ahem* that one site managed to make covers for a few of them somehow.  Would love to get my hands on those raws, let me tell you.

Anyway, glad you like 'em.  I'm sure I'll have more coming up next year!
