Wow, I actually completed this one a long time ago. Sorry, I meant to upload this sometime back, but I've been busy with other things lately and I guess it must've slipped my mind.  I haven't got around to making true retail versions of these, but for the time being here are the custom versions of Sesame Street 123 & Rock 'N' Ball:

Rock 'N' Ball:

Sesame Street 123:

Great job! :)

Both of your links go to the Sesame Street cover, though.

Looking forward to that Dino Riki cover!

Alright, I guess I'll do that one next after I finish Cybernoid, then!

I decided to sit down today and put this one together, and I'm glad to finally have it finished. I've been putting printing this one off a loooong time.

Redrew the front pixel-by-pixel. Should make for a great replacement to the one on the site now. Hope you guys like it!

Very sexy Gumshoe cover!  I printed that one out some time ago and made new screenshots for it, but I'll put yours on the 'to reprint' list for sure! :D

You wouldn't happen to have one like that for Stack-Up, would you?  That's the one black box game I have that's still naked.

Anyway, on to what I've been working on:

Bad Street Brawler - I apologise for not doing more cleaning on this one, but there are so many halos in the original artwork and halos are nigh impossible to clean around (which is why I ended up just redrawing the whole grid on the Section Z cover).  Hopefully this will work for you guys.

Glad you like 'em!

I had forgotten about that Stack-Up that Wiggy made.  I might just go ahead and use that one, then, since it's unlikely he's going to be adding the motion trails anytime soon.

And dude, if you could get your friend to get nice flat scans of Gun-Nac that would be bitchin'! It's near the top of my want list for covers.  I saw someone on ebay a while back who was selling a cut up box for $5 and I was going to buy it but I forgot and it never reappeared (maybe someone bought it).  Finding the box itself in usable condition would cost a pretty penny and while I'm fine buying boxes for $10 to make covers out of them, the price Gun-Nac's box fetches is a bit higher than I care to go. ;)

Amazing work as always, Wolf! Going to grab me Athena, Cybernoid, and Digger T. Rock, but not without first saying, "Thanks!"

You guys are all most welcome! Thank you for the kind words everyone! :D

Sweet, Dino Riki! Thats a nice batch of covers, Ill go through them when I have chance! Anyhting els in the works or that is untill another you pick up another batch of boxes?

That's all the ones that I had, but I actually do have a few more en route that I ordered last week.  They are:

F-117A (man, it seems like I've always got one of the flight sim games in every batch ;D )
Tecmo NBA Basketball
Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Defender II
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Licensed/Mindscape version)
Battle Tank
Silk Worm

After that, I'm going to run into a rather large rut since the rest of the games I'll need covers for, which will actually be an even 40, are going to be the ones with rather pricey boxes or boxes that simply aren't available.  I have a few easy/cheapos left (are you SURE your Othello box didn't grow legs and go walkabout, Arseen? ;D ), though, so I can probably knock that down to about 20-25 before I run into ones like Bomberman II, Godzilla 2, Gun-Nac, Cowboy Kid, etc.  Any game I don't already have that doesn't have a cover for it I'll make sure to pick up a box when I pick up the game so I won't have to do all this backtracking.

Edit:

Also, you guys wouldn't happen to have a box for Rescue: The Embassy Mission would you?  The one on the site (appropriately listed as custom) is missing the text in the background.  I figure this is a fairly common game so it's likely someone might have it lying around but might not be scanning it because there's one already up on the site.

Cheers, tik! :)

And thanks for the scans!  I'll see what I can do with those.  I'll have to see how different the PAL version is from the US version.

Edit:

Two I've gotten around to so far:

Defender II - Didn't I see someone else who did this one before?  Could have sworn...

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

I've also gotten Silkworm, but, the bottom-right-front of the box had some rather persistent ex-rental stickers on it so I don't know if I can make a cover out of it or not.  I'll scan the front of the cart and see if I can piece together a workable cover out of it.  Luckily the part that's obstructed is just the seal (which I replace anyway) and some of the rocks so maybe there's a chance. *crosses fingers*  8)

Hey guys, I recently retouched a couple of covers I needed for my games and wanted to share them with the community. Tried my best to emulate Wolf's quality taking the time to recreate the back of the box snapshots as accurate as possible (a-la Shenske).

Ninja Gaiden (Retail)

Ninja Gaiden (TCP Style)

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (Retail)

Looks sweet!  Some games are fairly easy to recreate screenshots for, like Zelda, but I know Ninja Gaiden couldn't have been too easy.  Although on the plus side at least there's only one screenshot of a live action sequence.

Finished three more in the last couple of days:

Adventures of Tom Sawyer (and yes, those darker blue strokes are part of the original artwork...I'm guessing this was originally a watercolour painting)

Battle Tank - It's funny, when I first played Star Trek: TNG on NES, the gameplay seemed so familar and when I checked and saw that it was made by Absolute it hit me: it's essentially the same game as Battle Tank.
