Was gonna first suggest using PAL one to make US one, but after comparing the two concluded that it would be tough.
Lot of re-drawing needed.

Yeah, I thought about doing that as well, but as you said would take a lot of work and it's the kind of work that would take a real artist to do, not a wannabe like myself. ;)

Also, let me know if you don't think you'll be able to locate your Othello box and I'll put it on my list of ones to buy.  It's a pretty cheap box (even to buy the whole game complete is under $10 shipped easily) so if you think it's a lost cause don't worry about it.

Othello box is definitely in some safe place, problem is that it's in too safe place. ;D

The common abbreviation for Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak (a.k.a. Flintstones 2).  I know we have the PAL/Scandinavian version but we don't have the NTSC/USA version.

That's going to be a tough one, or we just have to find a "nice" collector that is willing to scan it for us.  :)  Are there that many differences in the two boxes?

I'd also love to track down some scans/boxes of the other toughies I need like Bomberman II, Wayne's World, Godzilla 2, Gun Nac, Bandit Kings of Ancient China, L'Empereur, Pro Sport Hockey, etc.

Oh yes, I'm in the same boat Wolf.  I've been looking around for some of the tougher boxes to get scans for.  I'd love to get/see scans for BomberMan 2, Gun Nac & Pro Sport Hockey!

I'll see if I can persuade (i.e. pay ;D ) some NA members to scan some of their less-than-minty boxes for us.

I've tried this in the past with mixed results.  Some users are more than willing, yet don't have a scanner.   Others think you're using the scans for some sort of scam, or a way to somehow make money/profits or a knock-off box or reproduction.  In most cases, many users I inquire with simply ignore my messages.   :-\   One other issue is of course after you get them to agree to scan the box, to have them scan the box properly - at 600dpi, and have various settings on their scanner set up.   I keep trying though.  I think if we keep plugging away, we can definitely shorten everybody's want lists for covers!

....but ya, I'd love to see most scans for some of those "toughies" (as you put it) for the NES...

Keep up the great work!

Hey guys, wanted to give you an update.  Like I said earlier I have another 10 or so boxes I'm going to be making covers for, but unfortunately it'll have to wait a few days because last night my computer finally gave up the ghost.  As I mentioned before (where I posted the Hook cover) it had been acting up and freezing all the time and while making a cover last night it gave me a quick freeze, BSOD (which is new because usually it just froze, no BSOD), then an auto restart and it never recovered.  BIOS got corrupted, couldn't reinstall from the disk (checked the mobo battery voltage and all was well), and the CPU wouldn't even respond.  Did a Windows RAM check a couple days ago and it came back with no errors so that means that my mobo and/or my CPU are toast.  I ordered a new combo from newegg last night and I'm hoping (though not expecting ;) ) to get it in by Friday so I can work on more covers this weekend, but just in case it doesn't happen I just wanted to let you guys know I haven't abandoned the cause!

Plus, this new combo will save me a ton of time by not losing work every time I have to reboot after a freeze.  I'm kind of glad I'm no longer a PC gamer so I don't have to drop $600 on a high-end mobo/CPU bundle and instead can go with a more budget combo.  So long as it lets me play Diablo 2 I'm good to go. :D

Would anyone be interested in the Aladdin Deck Enhancer boxes? I have all but the MicroMachines box coming today...maybe tomorrow. If you guys wanna see them made I have no time to do it myself but can scan and submit the raw files. I don't even know if those are considered NES so maybe that's why they aren't on the site yet..In any regards would those be ok to submit?

So, I got my new CPU and mobo in last night (yay!) and hooked it up.  Now I need to reinstall Windows, but unfortunately my DVD-ROM drive is IDE only and I didn't notice when buying it that the new mobo only has SATA ports (I still thought all boards came standard with IDE interfaces...shows how behind-the-times I am these days when it comes to computer parts), so now I have to wait for a new DVD drive to arrive, which should be here Friday.  This is all killing me because I now have 11 boxes to scan in and make covers for and I can't do a sodding thing with them until my hardware arrives!  :-\

You mean you don't wanna be surprised?! ;D

The one that I was working on when my computer died was Cybernoid (kind of sad that it met its end while working on a cover for such a horrible game :D ).  After that I'll be working on, in no particular order (unless someone has a request):

Bad Street Brawler
Stealth ATF
Muppet Adventure
Athena
Hatris
Digger T. Rock (I think the PAL version of this one is on the boards somewhere)
Chessmaster
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Adventures of Dino Riki
Qix

So I'm definitely anxious to get to work on these.  I never realised how much I use my computer until I don't have it.  At least I can still get online thanks to my Wii, but now I'm definitely regretting not picking up that USB keyboard I saw at the thrift store for $4 on Saturday! :P

I don't have it marked off on my list so I don't believe so.  Arseen would know for sure, though.  I don't own that game but I will eventually so if we don't have a cover for it yet then scans would be much appreciated.  One less game I'd have to buy a box for later. ;D

Wow, I actually completed this one a long time ago. Sorry, I meant to upload this sometime back, but I've been busy with other things lately and I guess it must've slipped my mind.  I haven't got around to making true retail versions of these, but for the time being here are the custom versions of Sesame Street 123 & Rock 'N' Ball:
