Cool. Ill grab these, look through them and get them up with the rest of your covers soon!

Cheers! :)  I spent extra time looking for dust on these so they should be fairly clean.  I actually re-did Casino Kid 2 twice - once with just a bit of recolouring, and then a complete overhaul where I erased the whole thing and applied a colour gradient and retyped everything.  The latter obviously took much more time, but it also looked a whole lot better so it was worth it.  Of course, the cover is still pretty ugly overall, but there's not much I can do about Sofel's design choices, heh.

What are the two remaining covers if you don't mind me asking?

Those would be Motor City Patrol and Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball.  Once I get into next month and I have budget money for more games I'll see if I can pick up a few CIBs that we don't have covers for because I know if nothing else I'm going to need them at some point!  ;D

I made both a retail version and a custom spine version for this game.  I didn't have proper scans for this game so i had to recreate the cover with high rez art from the net and bit of magic here and there  ;)

Legend of Zelda - Hyrule Fantasy NTSC-J
http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=12774

Both covers are up on the site, enjoy  :)

EDIT: Time and Motivation permitting .... I have already done so much with The Legend of Zelda on NES i'm considering going for the full sweep and making the retail PAL covers for this title too. I may as well since i already have all the images and logos good to go, i would just need translated text and to rearrange things. Decisions decisions  :-\

Just replaced the old "retail cover" we had on the site with a true retail. The old cover was still justa  rough box with heavy creases around the spine and some bad dust, dirt and discoloration.  Its completely cleaned up and remade, extra line on the chin and all!  :D

The front art is still off. His jaw is out a bit more and is shaded, and his buttons are different. I have the box if you want the exact image.

Some more (thanks a bunch to Arseen for the scans on the first three!)

Also, Arseen - I wasn't able to make one for Othello since there's just a bit too much blurring.  Would you be able to try scanning again?  Or is your box in kind of bad shape and flat scans might not be possible?

Baseball Stars II - Couldn't completely eliminate the blur on the left side on the front, but at least it's minimal.

Thank you for the covers

I think I didn't rescan Othello. If I remember correctly the box is in great condition.

I'll scan it and ATF when I locate the boxes.

Probably on Wednesday.

And think the background on Dragonstrike should be more orange.

Hmm, I guess you're right.  I must have put the ones you gave me into the same folder as the Othello scans I grabbed off of the raws folder.  Well then, I look forward to Wednesday! :)

Regarding Dragonstrike, that's the colour it came out when I applied the contrast filter which I apply to all the covers.  Looking at the scans they're indeed red (near the very bottom they're a little lighter orange but the AD&D games didn't have a colour gradient applied so I went with the deeper colour...I believe the orange is just due to fading).  I'll take a look and see, though.

Edit:

Okay, here's what it looks like with the lighter orange colour applied (the one on the bottom of the scans).  Let me know if this looks more like what the box actually looks like.  I checked GameFAQs to see what colour their pictures/scans are and they have red on the front and orange on the back (I'm guessing from two different boxes). ;D

Cheers! :D If they're too dirty or need a lot of work, just let me know and I'll go back and fix them.  I know on my last batch you had to do some work on them before they were ready to go and I don't want you to have to spend your time doing that every time I put up more covers.  BTW, I was able to find a way to use GIMP to resize the seals without that annoying chipping so the seals on these should be good to go!

Also, this is for JDavis (since I don't want to post covers in the raws forum):

Okay, worked on City Connection.  I was able to make a composite of the two different scans you made to eliminate pretty much all of the blurring (there's still an ever-so-slight amount on the right side, but it won't be seen from a galloping horse):

Retail:

And full retail:

Indy Heat looks to be pretty good so I'll get to work on that one next.  If I'm able to get it done I'll post it with my next batch (unless you need it sooner in which case just holler and I'll probably have it ready to go).

And thanks again for the scans!

Wolf, just wanted to take a second to say thanks for the sudden surge of NES covers. I've been able to check quite a few off my list in the past few weeks thanks to you. Hope to see much more of your work in the future!
