Looks good. Glad to see the Europeans aren't being left out of this! Though I have to say regardless of the region (except Japan of course) all the NES Megaman boxart looks awful...none of it really reflects in the in-game graphics and I don't think anyone really had any concept of what Megaman looked like except for Inafune. Great work though Ali.

PS Lumberjack, I'll get around to uploading my reivsed boxarts soon, as well as other works. So except more Megaman and other gaming goodness in the comming weeks!

I think noone would disagree with you there, least of all me. However, out of an exceedingly bad bunch, the Mega Man 3 cover is pretty much the best Mega Man cover the Europeans ever had. Mega Man 4 and 5 (6 was never released in Europe) had the same boxart as the US originals, except for one thing: Mega Man's face. On the US versions, he has a big, fat grin. The European versions have a much more anime-like mugshot of Mega Man.

Did you allready finish the Mega Man 3 cover?

I've got a PAL Mega Man complete myself yesterday and will make a cover out of it too.... The only thing is that if it's too similar to your PAL cover I won't do it because I can't upload it anyway...

Anyway the description on my cover back is german so that is a bog difference but the rest is pretty much the same....

Did Eightcell ever release his TMNT2:The arcade game cover? Or does anyone happen to have any raws from that game?

As you can see, I took the effort to reconstruct the screenshots by taking screenshots from the game with an emulator, editing out the sprites until I had a picture with no sprites and then repositioning the sprites so that they looked exactly like the screenshots from the original box.

The Mega Man 2 cover will take somewhat longer to complete.

Tiktektak, if your Mega Man 3 box is in any way different to mine, then by all means turn it into a cover!

UPDATE: Uploaded a new version of the cover to correct a little mistake I made in the third screenshot on the back.

That Ninja Gaiden II cover looks great, except for the tear spot on the dragon's face. Any chance you could fix that up? It's been in very version of every NG2 cover I've seen since they all come from the same scan.

In any case, please keep up the great work. I'm waiting on a shipment of about 30 or so Famicom boxes I ordered, so when they arrive I'll be uploading FC boxes like mad....but unfortuntely I dont have much to offer in the ways of NES, so I'm counting on you!

ps thanks for the Ghosts n' Goblins cover. It's great.
